RJB 0 Posted August 24, 2005 Yeah everybodys talking about the new GMT 900 platform. But what about this Colorado that they have in the photo as well. Let's start the discussion. http://www.popularmechanics.com/automotive...ts/1674631.html
Nick 31 Posted August 24, 2005 rumors are that it is the H3T test mule...the beefier tires and shorter front overhang are good starting points to base that off of...
RJB 0 Posted August 24, 2005 I was hoping for something comparable to the old ZR2 platform. This would be very enticing and something I would be willing to buy to replace my ZR2 that I currently own.
ocnblu 1,143 Posted August 24, 2005 The Colorado Z71 4X4 sits higher than a ZR2. The P265/75R15 tires are comparable in size to the 31x10.50s. The Colorado has bigger ring & pinions than an S-10. Believe me, I compared them.

tama z71 0 Posted August 27, 2005 no, thats just somebody's truck and they had fun making it off-roadly. there is really nothing about it to suggest that it belongs to GM.

[post="5020"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] See the big C in the middle of the windscreen. It is there to identify which test model it is. Also on the lower part of the driver's windshield there is a bar code for the computer to log it in and out. I bet the professional photographer noted that but couldn't get a picture of it. Hence it is published as a known GM vehicle. Also I bet the alpha numeric series on the trailer belongs to GM. It could have had a GM manufactures tag on it. See you don't know everything, unless you were there and took the pictures and can prove it.

turbo200 6 Posted September 6, 2005 where did your shots come from? are these new? It looks to me like it could be the new GMC Yukon, but I'm not sure. The front suggests Caddy or GMC, but the smaller wheels suggest it could be a GMC. Does anybody have further confirmation?
03Yukon 0 Posted September 7, 2005 (edited) That is the next gen. Yukon XL. As in other spy shots, the Escalade has a chrome roof rack and 20s already on. The Tahoe, well a lot of people have already seen the front. Edited September 7, 2005 by 03Yukon

[post="10399"]<{POST_SNAPBACK}>[/post] the shots came from near/around Milford, MI...as you can see the famous banked turn at the proving grounds. ive since moved to Kalamazoo for schooling. my best sighting by far was what looks to be a C6 Grandsport... more then a Z51, but less then a Z06. http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/forums/sho...&threadid=40368 i was thinking that this was either the yukon, or suburban, as its simply HUGE... it looked like its longer then a Ford excursion.
