So, there was discussion on how GM didn't have a coupe ready for launch.

Which makes me think. When was the last time GM launched a car with multiple body styles AT THE SAME TIME?

Hopefully the general has more small car offerings than just the Cruze...coupe non withstanding.

Chris

The Orlando, plus the small Astra-based Buick, plus some Gamma2 crossovers. That'd be my guess re GM's small car offerings in the near future.

Yes. The new Aveo is due out in early 2010 and will hopefully go for sale late 2010 or early 2011 in US.

Then there is the GMC Delta/Gamma too.

Nope, SW wasn't intro'd until '93 while the coupe & wagon came out in '91. Sedan & coupe intro'd together, though. Also, the coupe originally only came in DOHC garb with flip-up lights & named SC, which was renamed SC2 in '93 when they intro'd the SOHC SC1 with fixed lights.

It might be cool if they call the miniature GMC the Jimmy. It will be a mini Terrain, I bet. Spunky!
