Wonder what's up w/ the doors...

He is saying the doors don't sag, which is a common problem on two door cars this large from this era.

Ahh..I interpreted it the other way...i.e. that 'DOORS DONT HANG' meant that they sagged and didn't hang properly. I could see that sagging would be a problem w/ long, heavy doors like that.

Or have two of them...always interesting to have multiple variations of the same thing...my Dad had 3 '67-68 Cougars for many years..

Otherwise, I have my sights set on a '66 or '67 next.

There is a solid and restorable gold '66 less than a mile from me, a driveway car that's been sitting a few years, along w/ a '55 De Soto and other vintage cars..

Yes, a nice black black '66 Toronado with "High toned son of a bitch" written on the back...

I haven't seen many '66s over the years, but they always stop me in my tracks.

Still waiting for the Germans to produce something as unique and dynamic...
