We are going to have a GLUT of heavy TRUCK / SUV Full size gas hogs that most cannot afford to fuel. As such, recycle of young auto's is what I see happening unless they find a way to export the used trucks / SUVs to alternative markets that have cheap gas. We will never have cheap gas again.

MAGATs love the big pickups, though, especially in red states like Texass...can't see that changing anytime soon..they aren't going to switch to EVs.

I agree that many southern states will not change as they will have to stop having health insurance, food, etc. just so they can fuel their trucks to drive them, and others will be forced to mass transit as the country fails to keep people financially sound. Much like the Idiot administration and the Lemming who is trying to shut down the CFPB or Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Seems the rich want free hand in ripping off the rest of America. Sadly, they just might achieve it in states that seem to be red and stupid in supporting it.

This could be a good thing in that it would clearly have an effect on the global population and take out a chunk of the older population that could not handle an ice age. Forced change due to humanity stupidity in ignoring science. We could just see all auto's not work if an ice age hits the planet.

Given the coming economic times, Used sneakers from Goodwill might well replace a lifted Silverado or F350.

A collapse of warner currents for Europe and unbearable heat for Texas and Arizona as global warming also takes an effect. Why its called climate CHANGE....

My least favorite city in the USA, explained clearly in five minutes.

1000% agree! I have not been there since 1994 (after the years of visits there with family). It was tourism trash then and it has not gotten any better since then lol.

I bitch about the country politically, but literally the only place I have been that I haven't liked in the USA.

I haven’t been there since I went to Disney for my high school grad night in 1988.  Never cared for central Florida, but always will like the Keys and Miami/Miami Beach.  Haven’t spent much time in the rest of the state other than St Augustine and Daytona Beach which I liked.   I want to go to Amelia Island for the Concours de Elegance.

My sister just moved to ST Augustine, want to go down and visit her.

Tourism is not improving...

That major media figures in our country are defending adult men having these weird sexual encounters with minor girls is sadly not surprising.

MAGA is toxic to everything it touches.

My sister has thought about wintering there..she's doing 6 weeks in Myrtle Beach next year, her 4th year down there.  Not as warm as Florida, but an easier/shorter drive from Cleveland.

Sometimes, when the $25 1972 console stereo you bought four years ago finally dies, you have to change it up a bit. Before and after below.

Tried turning a snow woman rather than a snow man, kind of liked the more feminine form.

Current status of the world...

A lot of people disagree with me/her on this, but I think it is inevitable.

I have a cheap old mountain bike I use for Urban riding, back on campus after a night ride.

I have always felt Tesla, the old tech company is going down a failed path that many deaths have proven is a failed approach.

Mercedes has their level 3 eyes/hands off self driving up to 45mph.

GM has a new SuperCruise Level 3 eyes/hands off with no speed limits coming out next year.

Ford has just stated Waymo’s approach makes more sense and safer than Tesla's.

That's Al Capone.

I learned from the visitor center at Hot Springs.Arkansas that he used to come down there with his fellow gangsters to soak at the different resorts and get away from Chicago.  He only lived to forty-eight.  He wasn't murdered, nor did he die in jail.  He had this debilitating illness, and he was able to spend his last years in a mansion on one of those exclusive islands off of Miami.
