Both the ZL1 and 911 S were on my list as well...I ended up axing them but they were there. I did see a handful of 2006-2007 Carreras and a couple 'S's as well without a zillion miles on them.

The ZL1 is a lot more fun to drive than the new SS, imo. Plus, I was able to get a Vert. So that settled it.

And I'd MUCH rather have a 911 than a rebuilt title Aston. Hard pass.

Wouldn't touch one w/ that many miles, either. You're brave man.

Lol 60,000? They are that big of pieces of $h!?

Plus, with 5 cars it really wouldn't get driven much. But as a "dream garage" I have to assume nobody is really considering maintenance and that $h! otherwise I'd just swap it for a GT500/ZL1.

Uh, let's just say they're not known for reliability, especially the earlier cars, and especially at higher mileage levels.

I took these threads to imagine we were spending our own money on them, and for me, a 50,000+ mile Aston is too big of a risk. I do love them, however. If we keep getting higher price brackets, a Vantage could very well end up on one of my lists.

The Focus RS and TRD came very close to my list, but decided on the Wrangler and Golf R instead, bu was VERY close.

I would take the R but still take the TRD....but my thinking also...

More courage than me....!

My list...very simple...

Both a WRX STI and a Golf R, best used Cayman I can find, Golf All Track wagon, and a pristine used Evo...which has not depreciated much....

If the Evo could not be located, i would take a clean used Lotus of some variation....
