  1. Fleets also include municipal government purchases, various companies, etc...not all are rentals. Some people like to rent the cheapest car they can. I prefer at least a Malibu sized car when renting.

  2. Amazing what we did for marketing during the early console days. What other ads can you find?

  3. OK. Who rents out small cars like the Cruze anyway? I'd rather rent out an Impala any day of the week.

  4. I have no gumption that it will come as a terrible built CUV with buggy software.

  5. History is littered with a number of staggeringly quick total failures of single-person vehicles. SOLO : $3.68 /share. That's where Tesla stock should be (or at least below $50).

  6. It is funny, after trading the DTS on the Trax in '15, I thought she was done with older used cars..but she hates driving the Trax on the freeway (too light, underpowered, buffeting from trucks) and her current gig requires driving across the state and back every week, so she wanted something heavier, faster and cheap...

  7. Got the car back a couple days ago after time in the shop...both fuel pumps replaced, no more fuel leak. Coolant flushed and replaced, oil change, one headlight bulb and foglight bulb replaced. Running great right now. I replaced the glovebox latch yesterday, 5 minute job. Discovered the owner's manual in it's leather pouch won't fit in the tiny glovebox (got a clean manual from eBay, car didn't have one).

  8. Yeah, and the one named GT is the sports car. Kind of ironic.

  9. What duplication? While there is definitely some overlap one is a GT car and one is a sports car. At least that is how I view them.

  10. Probably not much...they did overlap in the 2015 model year. Production of the SLS ended in 2014, production of the AMG GT began in 2014.

  11. They still make the SL and AMG GT AFAIK... There is a $36k spread between the SL and AMG GT roadster starting prices...( going off the prices listed on the MB USA website).

  12. Maybe if Jeep offered a Wrangler for 15-18k(where the Roxor is priced at) they'd have me on their side but the cheapest Wrangler is 28k. I think I remembered reading yesterday that the Roxor has a 62hp/140tq engine matted to a 5spd manual only. Seems like it would be the perfect ranch vehicle.

  13. Thinking on this, maybe the point of FCA lawsuit is they realize money is on the table due to the success of say Yamaha ATV's and people wanting a bit bigger. So creating an off road Jeep ATV that they sell for 15-20K dollars is a great idea, but late to the party when you have a 10K Mahindra already here.

  14. I doubt if that could be made street legal...wouldn't pass US crash tests, emissions, etc. True, though..no different than FCA suing a die cast maker selling unbranded Jeep toys.

  15. All of you assume that the Roxor will always be off-road and NEVER street legal. Mahindra could modify the Roxor to be street legal and take on the Wrangler one day. It may sound pedantic, but FCA is right to defend its trademarks against all comers.

  16. No one is going to cross shop this crap with a Wrangler, and it's not even street legal. Seems pretty baseless for a complaint.
