Chevrolet believes that it gain more market share in subcompacts to full-size sedans as other competitors leave the market, most notably Ford. "It's a pretty big opportunity for us. As other people are making noise about leaving the car business or thrifting back their portfolio, there's still business to be had there. It's just going about the business in a smart fashion," said Steve Majoros, Chevrolet's marketing director for cars and crossovers to Automotive News. While the car market in the U.S. continues to shrink as more buyers go for SUVs and crossovers, it still represents more than four million possible customers and an opportunity for Chevrolet to introduce itself to this group. The only thing that kept my father from completely blowing his stack after his mailbox was crushed the 2nd time, was that the 'players' had tossed a decent mailbox on the lawn that night. In fact, I know that the mailbox at my house must've came from Dad- I think he banged out mailbox #2 & kept 'freebie #3' on the shelf, and that's what I have. Has a bit of a crinkle at the rear panel. 26 years and going strong- apparently no 'players' around me.

After an all-nighter doing a production deployment for my client (went to bed at 5am EST this morning), at the end of a two 50+hr weeks, I finally had a day to relax. On the freeway this afternoon, saw a primer gray '55 Chevy 2dr sedan w/ a black hood. Went to the casino for a concert tonight, came out and saw a black Ferrari 488 GTB w/ a temporary tag parked out front. But parked in front of it and getting more attention, was a sharp clean white 4th gen Camaro IROC-Z convertible from around '89-90, top down.
