Sure, I have a computer and a phone. But I also always get a calendar from my GM dealer. And what a beautiful sight in terms of classic cars on it for the month of June. Voila: Come to think of it, for once, the Buick was the best looking of the Malibu-LeMans-Cutlass-Skylark fraternal quadruplets. The front and rear were clean and interesting enough. The side profile had nothing garish about it, including when closed up with a hardtop. And the dash had tasteful square bezels with small rounded corners. It came with quite a few engines. There were definitely 350s and 455s, but I learned that the 250 c.i. 6 was also available (read the fine print), possibly in down-line models. It would have theoretically been cool to have a purist convertible with the 6, no A/C, crank windows, buckets, console, gauges, and the alloy wheels shown ... as a hobby car. Nice car. Beautiful photo. Welcome to summer!3 points

Of course Im gonna be the one to disagree about which A-Body is the looker of the four... OBVIOUSLY its the Oldsmobile Cutlass!!! You see, the Cutlass has a rounded pillarless C pillar And in 1970, had a slight hump over the rear wheels. Something the others did not have. The Pontiac's treatment was a mix of what Chevy and Buick done with their C pillar. While the Chevy and Buick really look like twins The front ends of the Chevelle, Skylark and Cutlass from 1970 on are really really similar as where Pontiac's front end is unique. But in 1969, the Malibu/Chevelle's C Pillar is most unique from all of them. Anyway, the GM A -Body 1968-1972 is such a beautiful car. In convertible and coupe form. Especially the fastback coupes!2 points

Aftermarket 'tribute' rims, look like 18". Agree on the Buick looking very nice, tho if we were to switch it up to a GTO over a LeMans, I'd go that way. But all the '70 GM intermediates were basically spot on.2 points

>>Oh; and how does one “drive a vehicle online”??<< This would be an answer of some sort, I guess... Add some accessories Maybe a VR set to make things a tad more 'realistic' And looksie here, he could even test drive the very 'first' automobile he so thinks it is...1 point

How’d you come up with “5 hours”?? ? Oh; and how does one “drive a vehicle online”?? ?♀️1 point

^ My brother has one: Tri-P / 4-spd. I need to get a pic of it for you guys. The motor is supposed to be at the builder's right now.1 point

Sharp Skylark...haven't seen a convertible one in forever. Always thought the '70-72 Buick A-body 2dr ht roofline was very similar to the Chevelle. The '70-72 looked better overall IMO than the '68-69 Buicks w/ their sweepspear side crease and low rear wheel well openings. Though the concave rear was interesting and different.1 point

I've now spoken to quite a few people. Most of the ones thrown for a loop were recipients of Moderna. It was after the 2nd injection. It was just what has been described - malaise, tiredness, achiness (for some, it was very bad) - and then it was gone in 24 to 48 hours. Most Pfizer recipients don't report much after the fact. I had Pfizer. At first, I wanted Moderna because of its less stringent storage requirements. But, then, the storage requirements aren't my concern. So I'm glad I got Pfizer. Right now, and being vaccinated, I'm doing some "California dreamin'."1 point

One of those times where the right time and right song just make the atmosphere go nuts. Playoff hockey is a beauty and there's nothing else like it. I'm just disappointed in mah Blues hadedly getting swept in the first round. The ole injury bug struck them BAD this year and it showed.1 point

Gray interiors are my turn off. Don’t know why, but I generally hate gray interiors. Esp the cheap and nasty ones so common over the last 30 years. I like two tones, esp Black and Tan, black and white, or black and red. I esp like the baseball glove color leather Audi and others have used over the years. I like solid red or solid dark blue interiors. All black interiors tend to be gloomy caves, though with a sunroof they would be tolerable in a luxury car or sports car.1 point

Colors and multi-colored interiors = good (tho I still prefer black). Velour makes me nauseous. Seats need to be supportive WITHOUT squeezing you/ preventing movement. Except for having no headrests, the bucket in my ‘64 are more comfortable than those in my wife’s ‘16 Malibu.1 point

I like the seatbelt attached to the seat on the DTS. That car had very comfortable, stuffed seats. The types of seatbelts I hate are the motorized ones (some Fords in the early 90s) and the ones attached to the doors (GM in the 90s).1 point

Okay, we can agree to disagree. This is why I say this. Those interiors were pleasing to MY eye. I had a blue one in a Cutlass Brougham coupe and my dad had a gray one in a Regal Limited sedan. My criteria is this: how did I feel after a 10 hour jaunt from NorCal to the PNW, or vice-versa? I felt better (more relaxed, less fatigued) in these than I did in my current and last intermediate GM cars' fairly substantial bucket seats. Now, I can tell from their appearance and ergonomics, that I would like the seats above based on their boxiness and contours. I like the placement of the seat belts up front ... I have always preferred that location. I would want such seating to be in cloth, though. The very last Monte Carlo coupes I've rented had plumper and squarer bucket seats (much like this), finished in cloth, and they were great for long-haul driving.1 point

I heard this song for the first time in years after David Pastrnak got a hat trick last night and the Gahden's DJ played this song while 18 000 Bruins fans were ecstatic and were singing along. So...I got inspired to post this today1 point

I like certain aspects and details of this design. Certain angles of it are sublime.1 point

Sort of a cool photo. Love white Chargers, though I don't need all the bells and whistles (and costs) of the top of the line model. For me, less is more when it comes to cars. Also cool that it is staged at one of those storage lots or graveyards for airplanes found in the Desert SW. This beast in the background is obviously a KLM 747 that is basking in the desert sun.1 point

This isn't a matte color. It's just gloss grey without metallic.1 point

You left off why- from the start they built utterly terrible vehicles. Not sure that falls on the positive side of 'disruptive'... ?1 point

The wife and I just returned from our 1st Pfizer vaccination. Our 2nd shot is September 3rd. Nothing to report just yet. (side effects). But then again, it has only been 45 minutes.1 point

There is one GTO though, that Id want over a 442. A 1967 GTO over a 1966 442 (barely)1 point

Ill give a long...long...very long answer. GM's A Body muscle car is just sublime fir me. So...GTO for me. But... (I did say Id give a loooong answer) I do prefer the '70 version. I LOVE this version. My dad had one. But his was not "The Judge" trim. Kinda like this one. An even BIGGER but though... since we I are am talking about GM A bodies...then there is the ONE GM A Body that I totally want over the others...and THAT would be a 1970...OLDS 442 W301 point
