  2. Nope, wrong, Blazer SS is an on-road performance ride. Z71 Blazer would be the off-road performance version. Bison Blazer is another off-road package version for performance fun. Chevrolet has plenty of competitor packages to go up against Jeep.

  3. Realized that in the press release they say re-design, but in the flyer I downloaded and posted it says refreshed. LOL, clearly left hand is not talking to the right hand! Will be interesting to see what the Blazer SS EV ends up looking like. Clearly they can show it off soon since for sale spring 2023 means they have to start production this fall I would think.

  4. That is not really a redesign to me. That is a refresh and I sincerely hope for something a little more new for the EV version but it does not look promising. I realize that I am also probably in the minority here.

  5. Hopefully GM understands that they do not need weird style on an EV and just style the ICE/EV the same. Here is the new refreshed Blazer for 2023 model year. 2023 Chevrolet Blazer Infographic.pdf Video and pictures here: Chevrolet Blazer - 2023

  6. Honda E was a compliance Electric which he also failed to clarify. That was not a global mass-produced EV.

  7. Umm, yeah it is. Eventually, those IC models are being dumped for their EV counterparts and thus far (judging by the EQS and EQE), it literally doesn't look pretty. These changes you are referring to are all stop gaps while they transition to EV, so yes, they are getting dumped before the end of the decade. You had to go two generations back to find a Vette it can run with? Really? That's your bar here?

  8. I've not been a fan of the Chevy HDs, but the GMC HDs are pretty cool (tho not as cool as the 1500s : MCE '22 GMC 1500s are showing up in inventory, too. I also like the '19-21s better here :

  9. We all see what you did there. Panamera Turbo logged a 2.47.8 lap. CT5-V BW did a 2.49.4. CT4-V BW did a 2.55.6. Gulia Quadrafoglio did a 2.57.2. CLA45 did a 2.58.2.

  10. Except an AMG CLA45 is faster around Virginia International Raceway than a Supra 3.0, ATS-V, Gulia Quadrafoglio, Panamera Turbo and Challenger Hellcat Widebody. (Tied with a C6 Z06) Although 20/29 mpg isn’t that good, the 48 volt I-6 Mercedes get around 22/30, but the CLA doesn’t have a mild hybrid system yet, the new C-class does, so we’ll have to see those mpg numbers, plus I think that dual clutch transmission on the CLA isn’t good on gas like the 9 speed torque converter automatic.

  11. Except the high gas mileage in a turbo charge performance sedan is not true. The whole Turbos on small engines give you V8 power with 4 banger gas efficiency is a lie.

  12. And you're missing the point, eventually prices come down and the appliance auto buyers do get the low maintenance items they desire. I totally know that an appliance buyer will not pay $1,000 for tires. I get it, I see these people all the time buy those cheap $400 advertised tires, do nothing and then cry when one blows out due to low air pressure, potholes taking out the tire, running over stuff in the road and not even trying to avoid it. These lemmings cause plenty of problems and so if they can be moved onto a product that does not have them being s lane blocking disabled auto, then better for it.

  13. Yes, they are expensive, I never said they were cheap. I was only talking about weight as an example. Quantity of scale is not there to bring the prices down yet. The Video of this guy shows he is anything but tech friendly and clearly set in old man's ways of not learning anything new. Yup let him have his ICE, Future and Technology is not him. Let's be honest, ICE was just as confusing and had haters and resistant users in the early days too. Why replace a Horse, easier to use, handle and deal with than a complicated ICE auto?
