The technology is changing so fast that I'm holding off on auto decisions. I want to wait until the dust settles, if that even happens.3 points

Some recent enough real life experiences - - - - - A-330 The eastbound crossing aboard Finnair (partner of AA) and changing planes in Helsinki of all places ... great airline The 2-4-2 seating of the A-330 cabin The plane seen after getting off in Helsinki and inside the terminal Here's their newish A-350, with the curved winglets and raccoon paint around the front window - - - - - A-380! The westbound crossing aboard British Airways (partner of AA) and changing planes in LHR, which is a crazy place ... mixed opinion of this airline I think this one was leaving LHR before us for Miami International "Land of the Giants:" If I'm higher than the pilot on that other A-380, that means I'm upstairs, but in economy at the very back This is 2-4-2 economy because of the domed shape on the upper level; sitting upstairs at a window is not that great because the separation between the window at the inside and the exterior has a huge angled gap, so the views aren't that great ... I prefer the 747 With the sloped sides where they couldn't fit another seat, you get this extra bin beside you upstairs I snuck down the stairs to main level economy before they put up the dog and toddler gate Then, they put up the gate to curb any childlike enthusiasm for exploring A nice way to deplane to remember the flight and the majesty of this super-jumbo2 points

I cut my teeth on GMInsideNews for a little, but grew bored w/ the constant griping about the inevitable EV future. Been a car nut since I got my first Hot Wheel as a child and as an adult have owned cars across multiple brands...meaning, I'm not a brand fanatic but if you put a gun to my head and made me choose...I'd pick McLaren as my favorite make. Looking forward to some healthy discussion. Cheers1 point

I have been looking at Hot Tubs and found I really like the Natural Chlorination tubs where you put a 50lb bag of salt into a holder and it manages the PH level by using natural salt. You just test it and occasionally have to shock it if it gets too far out of balance, but a natural salt hot tub tends to give a very nice warm sea saltwater experience. They also have mineral hot tubs so you can get that Mineral Hot Spring feel of relaxation and comfort to the body. Also thinking about a walk-in tub w/ whirlpool jets in one of the bathrooms, a hot tub for the backyard, and maybe an above ground pool eventually...I really miss having a pool and a hot tub. I'd rather invest in upgrades to my house than an EV that would only irritate me..1 point

This is part of the mystery as a few things have been found in the deep south of the Indian ocean moving towards Australia but otherwise the plane just disappeared and so the Conspiracy theorist have gone nuts on what really happened. It was a good watch, some very valid points made.1 point

I am thinking of getting a whole house generator. The new house has an electric stove top (which is great), 2 gas furnaces and 2 air conditioners. And a fireplace.1 point

Since EV technology is changing so fast, I would only consider a lease. But an EV makes no sense for me since I don’t have a commute. My driving patterns are so variable…depending on what I do on weekends, some weeks I drive 5 miles, some 50 miles, some 500 miles…1 point

Due to the price of raw materials for batteries, unless they can truly mass produce solid-state batteries on common materials, then Leasing will become the new norm as the need to recycle rare earth materials will have a big market. Interesting times we are entering for sure. On the flip side, I am seeing more and more stories about EV conversions of old autos. I like a mix of real buttons and touch screens. I don't think I could live w/ a touch screen only interior w/o smashing the screen out of rage/frustration eventually.. ?1 point

Speaking of airplanes (obviously, in this thread), has anybody wanted the new Netflix documentary on the MH370 disappearance? It'd very interesting and I'd suggest a watch.1 point

Anyway, looking at the vdio of the Boeing airplane JUST by itself...AND...looking at the airplane AS Airforce One...BOTH are MAJESTIC the way the video is shown to us. I LOVE IT!!! 1.
