  1. Woodward, the 1913 theater where they played Two of my Debate Students, Rinee and Vai, after getting an award... Last picture-From a hike in Missouri. I urgently need to be back on the road, or trail again. Feeling footloose.
  2. Last pic, the A 340 that crashed in Toronto, everyone made it off, amazingly. Somebody's thanksgiving dinner, not mine. The Raisins in concert in Cincinnati. They broke up as a band in 1885, folks convinced them to get back together to do a few shows. Went last night, fantastic show.
  3. Auugggghhhh....I worked for Wells Fargo in Chandler, AZ from 2009 to 2011...what a truly, deeply awful company...absolute sweatshop environment in IT/Software Development. Too many 70 hr weeks, 5am emergency calls, Friday night implementations...not to mention a 50 mile round trip commute in awful traffic... in 2011, after 3 people in my 25 person department had heart attacks in 6 months (one fatal), I had had enough. And I went somewhere even worse--McKesson, home of 90hr work weeks... I don't miss any of that.
  4. We are so effed as a society
  5. Thank you! Things people observe about various groups shouldn't be bashed as stereotypes, but as reasonably good indicators. It's not only that way with the guys, but also with the women. One interesting thing that's going on is that they're even playing the "hard to get" game with their own counterparts where "water seeks its own level" holds, but these guys are going to other countries (Cuba is big) to find wives or shack up honeys. Eventually, the thighs on these thin Italian women will take a hit and they, too, will look like the older Gina Lollobrigida who, after one marriage, did not tie the knot again. Maybe it was her choice, or, who knows .... In the driver's seat ... Oh, well ... I'm not being ageist because it happens to everyone. Some people don't take the humbling all that well. As much as I like Italy and France, and their languages and cultures, they are Europe's worst offenders when it comes to superficiality.
  6. She is such a pretty girl in this picture, I feel like she is a beautiful woman about to be murdered, given her future... Memorial to the crew/passengers lost.... Pictures of the plane on the bottom of the ocean....amazing that we can dive deep like that. The Iran Air civilian Airbus A 300 our military mistakenly shot down.
  7. The Korean Airlines plane lost because navigational errors took them into Russian airspace... The air cargo 747 destroyed in Afghanistan due to improper flight loading/securing of cargo. Love this livery. Might be one of my favorite 747 liveries. Every accident is so interesting in terms of human/mechanical failure of some sort... The South African accident was one of the most interesting to me.
  8. One of the planes that hit the world trade center. A co worker at the time had his wife planning on taking that flight, she got to the airport late that morning and missed the flight...needless to say he was a bit frantic for a few at work that day. Lufthansa 747 lost on takeoff in the early 1970's....
  9. Literally phoque around and find out I say good on her!!! That lyin' cheatin' bastehd wont be cheatin' anymore. Good lookin' too. Probably smaht as well as she more than likely succesfully calculated on how to convinced him to look at their wedding photos to slam it shut on his nuts.
  10. I went into Walmart last night and got a "Pat." These types are generally not friendly to me because I might appear Republican and conservative, so I am the establishment. (Yeah ... right ... eye roll) However, this one was nice to me.
  11. I think so. Jacksonville seems like one giant suburb to me.
  12. I believe that's the WF in Jacksonville, Florida.
  13. A violent lass....she seems so full of remorse...
  14. My kind of rebellion! Thought this was an interesting drawing of two women, you can't quite tell what is going on, a bit of mystery to the art. So many stories in such a simple hand drawn picture.
  15. I am not sure how safe it is, but it is difficult to get into.
  16. I tried listening to the video but I couldnt get myself settled enought to do so. ADHD? That may be a possibility and I was also helping my son with his homework. My opinion is that I dont think Hell is a difficult place to get into. Its a prestigious club and ANYBODY could get in when temptation is strong enough. In my opinion Hell not need be a physical place but it could be a mental one too. And there could be different types of Hell. Little bastions of Hell making it easier to find on earth. An example: All kinds of fiery sin in that kind of place. The depths of human depravity and suffering. Like I said...temptation in that mini-hell that leads to Hell's resort that eventually leads to the mythical place after death. That would be one sort of hell. Another would be this kind Look how the Devil looks like in the picture below And I didnt want to post the next pic below because of the injured, possibly deceased little girl that brought tears to my eyes. But that is how the Devil works. And we enable him. Some of us in this world do his work for him and this is how he repays us here on earth. We dont even need to wait to die to feel the wrath of God when we dont enter his realm. When God denounces our plea to enter Paradise... We collectively pay for ALL of our sins. And I mentioned Hell could be a mental entity... The best example I could find of this type of Hell. 2 different soldiers in two different wars experinecing PTSD. Shell shock or whatever term we like to call it nowadays. One doesnt even need to be religious to experience Hell or to permanentally live in Hell in life on earth or after death. Hell exists for real and it has NOTHING to do with religion. Religion just scares you about it. Hell truly exists. Its the deepest, shyttyest human thing that humans do either to one another or to onesself... Just my opinion.
  17. Your Peacock statement is so true. Had to do some training of our sales force in Italy and I was shocked in how everyone dressed up and tried to outdo each other in peacock fashion. There I was in Jeans, polo shirt and was to train them on our tech, amazing how much the guys especially would be more worried about how they looked then understanding the technology they were to sell. It tends to explain the high turnover of the sales folks that are too focused on their looks rather than the job.
  18. Thank you! Possibly Italy's only colony, with spillover into adjacent countries like Somalia. I have no doubt the regular people would be nice, and probably nicer than most Italians who are constantly tending to their plumage to ensure they exude "la bella figura." My immigrant father would joke many Italians in Italy are much like peacocks. If it's safe, or I could be accompanied, I would like to see it.
