I should have said 'successor' instead of 'predecessor' Probably my favorite Mercedes sedan. I also love the W123. So tied for my favorite Mercedes sedans. Id restomod either of them. But Id be cheeky with it. Id Hellcat them. Just a minor grudge I still hold for the merger of equals. Id also nix all the 3 pointed star and AMG badging. Id replace all 3 pointed stars with the Dodge Fratzog and AMG with the Cat from Hell badging. Id leave the 6.3 liter badging though. A Hellcat engine is 6.2 liters. And so is that AMG engine. Its just that the 6.3 has a historical significance. At that point...who cares?

Back when I was first driving, I was firmly in the GM and Lincoln camp. Import cars did not really attract me, but there was one. I much prefer the split headlight versions, but the peanut headlight CLK Cabrio is not something I'd say no to. I do still keep an eye out for a late-run W210 sedan with a diesel.

We did The Bay and Sears too. Sears...Kenmore appliances back in the day were the best. I miss Sears also.

I always liked that face too. My post earlier today has me looking at W210 diesels as my business vehicle... because I'm like on day 1 of no more car payment of course. lol

Yeah, my mom probably found it on sale. My parents liked Sears, Sears Surplus, and BeST (A chain that is nearly impossible to google). It's funny, in my family that you can tell who bought something by where it was bought. My grandmother who just passed last year was a Bloomingdales and Strawbridge & Clothier lady. My great grandparents on the other side were Wannamakers. Other grandmother was JC Penny and Sears. Albert's family was all Kaufmann's and Horn's.

Canadians are pissed, and this like our soybean exports to China ain't coming back. Only saw one Canadian plate in my 8 days in Maine. (except when I crossed into new Brunswick, and then saw zero American plates.) (Border crossing was dead, we were the only car in line both ways.) US liquor exports to Canada are down 85 percent.

Hell, we can't even defend the USA from the USA. Ford 1960 was an amazing car, didn't know the 60 Ford influenced the famous Bubble top impalas and other GM's.

Not a serious question... Just another deflection. Canada has laws that dictate how guns should be stored. Locks and safeties and how to toransport guns in cars from place to place...yada yada yada. I glanced quickly to what @G. David Felt wrote. I quickly know how to store my own guns. AS I DO own guns myself. I told you to google what other countries do for gun ownership. Lots of countries have rules and regs for gun owners to follow. Restrictions on who owns what type of guns. ETC... I also told you to phoque what the laws dictate on what to do for safe gun ownership. But I also asked you WHAT kind of research are YOU going to do to INFORM yourself the dangers of hateful folk that EXPLOIT your naivete for their OWN gain. I also asked of you what will YOU start doing to change the mindset of all these brainwashed Americans that feel the need to own guns to feel safe. I asked of you how YOU and your fellow American on how will YOU reverse gun violence idolization? Ill ask another question. How will YOU convince your fellow Americans, YOUR community and society to teach themselves GUN SAFETY. How to learn PROPER AND SAFE GUN ETIQUETTE. And most importantly...contrary to what Charlie Kirk and the far right preaches now...how to RE-LEARN about HUMAN EMPATHY AND SYMPATHY. (Both Greek words by the way...ANCIENT GREEK WORDS...) I asked you to start to REVERSE that hurtful trend about guns your society has fallen for. And my ranting looks like a lot of hot air...but only to those that have closed eyes, ears and hearts. Or trolls...
