Do this poll. Now.

I like the initiative process, actually, and think it really fits California. Since California is a very progressive state with a lot of people who care and WANT to be involved in government, I think it works. Not all states would benefit from this though because for example in Indiana, people just hate any change whatsoever...and sometimes the elected officials really do know what's best for the people and if the initiative process were introduced there, nothing would ever get done. Double-edged sword...it helps things get done in some cases but could hinder in others...in CA though it works.

3. 209581 Depends on how much money you have... 209674 You only have to convert if you have a Catholic Wedding...but a wedding in a Catholic church by a Catholic priest that doesn't include a Catholic mass doesn't matter if both are Catholic or not...unless the priest does not want to.
4. Better than TBs? Not really setting the bar very high, are you? :AH-HA_wink:
5. BINGO! My thoughts exactly...
6. That's not true at all. My mother was married in a Catholic church THEN converted nearly 20 years later. Also, the Catholic Church tends to look down on divorcees.
7. Bonneville is much better. And Commodore sucks for the reasons stated above...mainly because it brings back recollections of the Commodore 64 or disco...not what Pontiac needs. Bonneville at least resonates with people positively because a) it wasn't a bad Pontiac or disgraceful EVER...and also because anyone who knows anything about performance knows about the Bonneville Salt Flats...which is definitely something that goes towards Pontiac's performance image. I wouldn't have a problem with Phoenix or Tempest being used...mainly because most people have forgotten those cars and also they are like Tempe and Phoenix, Arizona...got some racing fans and history there...again performance.
8. Yes...and yes.
9. Actually, I don't have to admit it...because I don't think it would. The marble has to go...and the diamond tucking is overdone.
10. The "ground effects" look tacked on...I dunno I just don't feel it...and yes that marble still looks like Corian.
11. yuck. What is that nasty looking paint-spattered plastic doing instead of wood?

15. But...but...if BV didn't put this bumper sticker on his car, he wouldn't be able to start a new thread and post pictures when "FAG" gets keyed across the side of his car...
16. That's really what gets me! I didn't know vehicles with crank windows were still being made that weren't completely stripped-down base-model subcompacts!
17. SEXY!
18. sign into the wrong screen name there, OC?

20. Funny...I deal with wild and unruly kids ages 3-10 every summer...except they aren't unruly in MY classroom. I have had others bring their kids to me to control them when they can't...Dunno what it is, maybe I just set expectations the first day and don't try to be their friends...not to say I'm mean, but I present myself as an authority figure instead of an equal. Many of the kids come back year after year and I know one girl wants to work with me this next summer now that she's old enough to help lead.
21. GM is still the #1 Automaker. They are in the process of "right-sizing" so they do not have excess workers, excess factories and excess capacity. GM's quality is up. GM is making money on its compact cars. GM's near-future vehicles are looking like solid hits.Toyota is growing rapidly. Toyota's recalls are growing rapidly. Toyota has been covering up recall problems. Do you honestly think the Hilux incident is a single isolated case? Toyota was recently scolded by the Japanese government for their ethical/safety problems pertaining to their recalls. USA Today reviews the Avalon and interior parts fall off. That doesn't happen to a GM. What is GM doing so badly? What is Toyota doing so well?
