  1. Racing seats can be used in any auto, even daily drivers if a person loves a stiff very supportive seat like that. Also a 4 point racing harness is very safe, even safer than traditional seat belts IMHO. As long as a person realizes that racing harnesses do not have the same give and take as traditional OEM seatbelts, I love them for the snug fit they give you.
  2. Sold GM performance. Amazing what a FWD appliance can do like the XTS. I think a certain person who is all high and mighty about german engineering needs to eat a little humble crow.
  3. FTFY. :smilewide: Mucho Appreciate it. Learn something new everyday!
  4. Ya, the R/T.. https://autos.aol.com/article/2011-dodge-grand-caravan-rt/ WOW, that is pretty interesting, wonder what type of premium they got for a Man Cave mini van.
  5. Why not? True, but you just cannot make it a true sports vehicle. It is a people mover after all.
  6. A blacktop edition for the van??? Why???
  7. Naw, Frogs are cuter than this thing. Looks more like a bridge troll.
  8. FTFY What the? I so hate acronyms. Makes it so much harder to understand some times.
  9. Agree that the names hold more emotion, yet even then they were still over priced luxury Honda Versions. Acura needs to truly stop rebadging Honda and go their own way with body style and interiors that set it apart if they want to be a contender.
  10. Lovely Car! That would be killer as a Buick GS Coupe!
  11. I bet on the following, the ugly big plastic nose is for Euro spec pedestrian crash standards / ease of repair for auto crashes and probably the only way they can get at the engine for service. Remove the Nose, service the engine and put the nose back on again. Vans have never really had an easy service access except in the 70's when you had the huge hump inside come off so they could do an easy tune up.
  12. 3 strikes and your out, we heard this all before and they continue to rework the same old relaunch plans. Same message different platforms. Eventually they will realize they lost the opportunity and just need to fold it or have it as a niche vehicle. There is no global ability for Alfa. Those days are past I believe. I believe this is talk to just keep certain few exec's or investors pacified to keep them from causing trouble as they need to focus on the lines that can make them money and not invest billions in a line that has a past due date.
  13. Except for the taxi drivers, they still drive wicked fast and tend to hit the horn if you hold them up. After all time is money.
  14. Lets just hope it helps pay down the R&D to get this into more variety of models. I think a Suburban Volt Power Train with a small Diesel generator would do amazing.
  15. Impatiently waiting,.......... Both are still very ugly IMHO. I agree with Balthazar that there is some cheapness going on with the all plastic nose. But knowing the idiot Socialist Republic of Euro, they probably will say it is people friendly when they get hit by the crazy drivers. Lately it all seems to boil down to what is people crash friendly. I wonder just how friendly it is compared to a nice looking body style.
  16. Wow, I wonder if they will get any law suites over the name since there are many other products called ProMaster? This is one ugly van. I really hope they redo the nose.
  17. WOW It is amazing how stupid lemming reviews actually can sell auto's. I thought the internet was helping people to get informed and choose better auto's. Instead it looks like Lemmings are winning.
  18. Other than Marketing, I am finding it more and more difficult to justify the TT V6 over a V8.
  19. I would agree with both Dwight on a next level luxury package but also with Ocnblu on on a GS package for the Encore. Luxury package for both markets would make sense as Dwight states, but for the US, you could also have an Encore AWD GS package. I know many ladies that would eat this up in a CUV package.
  20. Happy B-Day!
  21. They could start by building auto's that actually have style not the Buck Tooth Hick look. They could also build performance and High Mileage auto's that are true luxury and can really fit large people. 6'6" tall does not fit into Acura. I know since I have tried many times with my friends who have the MDX and no one can sit behind me since with the chair all the way back there is only a couple inches from the seat back to the back seat and since I cannot sit upright, I have to be partially reclined and so over all the auto might be well built, but for small people.
  22. Love the Idea and specs, ZR1 - Stealthray would be a great World Beating Supercar for GM to produce.
  23. If they think about that Chevy might blow a head gasket, GMC could do it and bring back the Syclone. That was one Sick Twin Turbo Truck. I am sure the new TT V6 would go into a nice new Keg totting crewcab truck for GMC.
  24. Would any of you turn down the opportunity to drive one of his cars let alone own one? While I agree with you all that he is stretching calling this a muscle car. I am glade to see a person having started a business and building in America.
