  1. Sweet Win CTS!
  2. Awesome, thanks Drew, so far very snappy.
  3. I had allstate and farmers and both were happy to take money but slow to respond to customer needs. I went with Costco Ameriprise and have loved it. For all the auto's and house and the rate was very low and yet still I get great response usually same day if not the next at the latest for the few times I have had to use it. Most times while on the phone they ask me to go to xyz autoshop and they will snap the pictures write it up and get back to me in 72hrs to have it dropped off for repair if it can still be driven. One time I was hit and not drivable, they had me in a rental same day and had it being repaired the next. Ameriprise is awesome. Just wish they also had marine. Have to go with Progressive for that.
  4. Thanks Dwight, I found this very enlightening about the two types and their efficiencies. Much appreciated.
  5. Happy Birthday Drew, Hope you have a great day and even better night!
  6. One less broken 4x4 with poor site lines. Though I do have to say I did like that they have been the only one to include a angle gauge in the FJ to tell you what angle the auto is at. But after seeing how easy it was to bend up the unibody on these, they became a joke in the 4x4 off road community. Just a street poser.
  7. That is great info and very easy to understand. Thank you for taking the time to explain this for us. Next big question, so how does this compare to a supercharger then? We have the intercooler and the supercharger sitting right on top of the engine, I realize there are those that attach to the front or the engine, but my understanding is the Whipple is still the most efficient supercharger around. So comparing a Whipple supercharger with intercooler to a Garrett GTX2867R turbo with intercooler. How does this stack/compare up?
  8. This is very interesting information and helps me better understand the turbo system. Question of my own. We know that Inter-coolers and Turbo's are not 100% efficient, if we could chill the intake system going into the engine so that once the air goes through the inter-cooler, into the turbo and as it goes towards the cylinders we could chill the passage way to take heat away would this not help us achieve closer to 100% efficiency?
  9. This gives me the sad feeling that some of the old GM still is sitting around waiting to screw things up since they cannot seem to settle on a standard. I agree with Roger that they should not change this.
  10. Interesting potential. See how much of this gets passed onto the whole family and if potential customers actually buy it.
  11. WOW, they actually managed to make this even uglier. Now it looks like it got punched in the nose and is stubby due to the collision with a fist. They clearly have lost their design mojo and only their die hard lemming customers seem to continue to buy this garbage.
  12. Intimidation
  13. Someone needs to introduce recall legislation to kick this turd out of office.
  14. Weird, but the nose looks like it was grafted onto the body. Proportions are just weird. Very ugly to me.
  15. Oldest one I have still is my 94 suburban GMC SLE edition.

  17. Awesome addition to these cars. I wonder if these are already on the Police packaged versions of these cars?
  18. Awesome, what a way to go out with this product line. I suspect this is a way to make collectors items before it gets replaced by a Barracuda.
  19. In it's existing state, I doubt Mitsubishi can survive, another auto company that will have to merge to survive but eventually I think will end up in the history books. I suspect we will have only 4-6 major brands by 2025 and many of the minor car players will either die off or get bought out and be niche models for the few major players.
  20. Service is top as we all agree, GM could not only lead but clearly set a standard for top notch service. They need this, I have come across many under 40 people that have not had any issues with using the electronics in auto's yet this is not the large buying group that is having issues. 40+ crowd is a mixed bag of peeps that enjoy driving, know what a freedom machine is about and yet with all the tech no babble systems, many are challenged to use their new auto's to the fullest. 1) start with better testing by the auto makers for cars. The software quality sucks and is not getting proper QA testing. 2) During the Mule stage of the auto, they also need a mule stage of the Electronics systems they plan to put into the auto to make sure the public is on board with what is being proposed / built. 3) Independent quality check by an outside 3rd party of said electronic systems. This will improve quality of the products, reduce support costs, reduce warranty costs, improve company image and over all increase sales due to a better customer experience.
  21. A great plan that hopefully someone at GM will realize can be done in a Niche fashion.
  22. Great review, I would take one of these and that means allot from an SUV guy. Fell in love with the one they showed at the Seattle Autoshow. Amazing looking.
  23. Ya never know what you might find on the internet or for that matter YouTube. In today's world of post anything be it tacky or inspirational it came as a great video to watch about people coming together to make a persons dream happen before he left this world. I bet you will shed at least a few tears. Awesome to all who contributed to making this happen.
  24. Too bad they did not have the king cab as most people looking for the regular cab will spend a little more for a king cab but will pass at the cost of a crew cab.
  25. Ocnblu you do not think that a 6.2L TT V8 would beat the Supercharged V8? Chevy can have a mean Full Size SS truck and GMC can have their midsize/small Canyon GMC Syclone with the 3.6L V6 TT AWD. This would give each a special performance truck for the enthusiast.
