L.A. Auto Show: 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV: Comments
WOW, What an over priced Luxury Golf Cart for Inner City Transportation. Just wait till these cars get smashed and splattered all over the EV Highway and they have to call toxic response to come and clean up the mess. Sorry but this is a sad joke of a car in a world that does not really need them except in certain high density cities. I hope GM can recover the R&D cost of these pure electric cars, but I kinda doubt it. still 50 years and a long way to go in technology before this will be standard common car.

First Drive: 2013 Toyota Avalon and Avalon Hybrid
While the history of these past brands is great, one has to admit that there were way to many brands and non profitable lines. I look for GM ot strengthen their products now by taking from their rich history and putting it into a deeper bench of fewer product lines.

Natural Gas: The Obama Trade.
In today's society with not just the US, but World wide unemployement affecting everyone's quality of life, what could get at least the US to jump back into putting people to work and raise the life standard of the average worker? Forbes put out this great article by Stan Barton: The Surprising Obama Trade: Natural Gas http://www.forbes.co...ember_189605545 To quote the story: "A policy to take advantage of the natural gas abundance will have a “New Deal” type influence on infrastructure construction and manufacturing, and it will provide cheap energy to fuel growth in many sectors. Cheaper than oil per BTU, natural gas would have long-range systemic benefits for inflation control, just as Internet technology created systemic improvement in productivity. This article makes the case why we think that President Obama will focus on centering the U.S. energy policy on natural gas, and how it will help stocks that are in the sweet spots: natural gas exploration, well services, pipelines, fueling stations, vehicles and infrastructure." So read the complete article and then sound off on whether you agree or disagree and why. Is this the proper step for America to take in moving off oil to something better over the next 200 years as we perfect electric transportation? Please remember this is not to be political agenda driven, but from a business standpoint and what could help create jobs and our nation grow in a time of world wide depression.

GM considers revamping Buick logo
That would be a nice update, use Jewel looking colored on the tri-shield and get rid of the circle. That would give it a nice modern look. Here is my poor MSFT Paint Job on the Tri-Shield

This should help recover the costs spent on developing the ATS. Spread the wealth of an awesome platform around to bring better quality auto's to everyone.

Going to Phoenix, AZ at the end of this week
Have a safe trip, I know there are some awesome car auctions as well as restore companies in the area but Hopefully someone from that area can offer some better stuff to see.

Looks like a small vesion of the Focus and not a fan of the inside. Looks cheap, but then it is an entry level car.

Cosmetic package only does not do this car justice. They should have really gone the extra step to do this right.

A New Dilemma
I have to disagree with Ocnblu. While a white interior is hard to keep clean, I have had many leather interiors with over 200K miles on them and never had them trashed like this interior is. Leather seats have always lasted for me without having holes. I have always found that the more trashed the interior is, the more trashed the over all auto is. You will want to do some serious investigation on the car as I would not be surprised to find burnt rings, leaking oil, dif and tranny issues, etc. Even electrical could put this into another mess all together. Just be cautious as it would be better to walk about from a rebuild like this than to get into a money pit.

GM considers revamping Buick logo
I vote for standardizing on the Chinese red, white and blue tri-shield. Give it a jewel look so it is a bit more modern and call it a day.

A New Dilemma
I like anyone could make a auto pretty, but the inside tends to show the real story. It has been driven hard and put away wet with no care. I would pass on this unless you truly have cash to throw into the money pit. The rareness is not a strong enough reason for how much will need to be invested on restoring it. This truly needs major work and the inside is just a hint to what is lying and waiting for attention out of view.

Stuffing It
I have to disagree with this, it is more about a balance of all food groups. I work with multiple people in my team that swear by this life style and only one of them david who works out and eats a wide variety of vegitable foods seems to really be healthy. The rest are always getting sick, look like they are deficient of vitamins and no muscle tone. While it is a persons choice to do a vegan, vegetarian, etc as there are many various forms of this style of eating. I still go back to the science that shows a balance of all food groups including meat is the healthiest of all. I have yet to have met a vegitarian who is 80+ years old and yet we have many over 100+ years old that eat meat still.
