Do they not have 1 year leases? I would think there are people who love to change auto's enough that a 1yr lease is perfect for them.

I agree that before we build more plants that leave a destructive waste by product, we should invest in alternative green forms of power generation. This thread could go very political, but the point being is the public needs to demand that our government stop overloading on overseas issues that really do not affect us and focus on rebuilding American infrastructure so that we can move towards dependance. This will require kicking the oil habit and there are many ways to kick that habit as I will cover in up coming alternative energy issues.

Yet electric cars are still a commuter car only. Forget the Rich toy that has a supposedly 300 mile range, the current electric cars cannot take you on a cross country trip. End of story. We are at least 50 to 100 years away from a storage source for electric that can get you 500 miles on a charge and how to rapid recharge in minutes. They are a niche vehicle.

Marketing can make or break a company. GM needs to wake up and brag about their engineering finesse and show the world that they build world class products in more than a niche ZR1 or some other specialty product.

So true that would be freakin awesome race. Course with the way the political correct morons are going with hiring cops to focus on telling everyone how to drive and when I doubt we will ever really see crazy races like this any more.

Fiat News: Fiat Introduces The 2013 500 Turbo
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Fiat
Still a small car for small people with an ackward style that I do not honestly see growing besides a niche market. Once the less expensive Mini wanna be's have their car, this will level off as I see bigger growth in the compact market, not this subcompact market. Just wait till the videos hit the web of people dying in this coffin on wheels that cannot handle being hit by an SUV let alone a Semi. So yes this is a race, but they sure do rollover and get pushed back on their wheels again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwd79lUI6kc&feature=player_detailpage 3 stars safety, would you really want a loved on in this car? http://www.autoweek.com/article/20111209/CARNEWS/111209872 Crash of one of the first Fiat solds in the US with less than a 1K miles on it. http://jalopnik.com/5799930/first-american-fiat-500-crashed-with-less-than-1k-miles Funny roll over in 500 by new student driver. http://www.topspeed.com/cars/car-news/student-driver-crashes-and-flips-over-fiat-500-on-just-her-second-lesson-ar88261.html Amazing 500 accident photo's http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=Fiat+500+deaths&qpvt=Fiat+500+deaths&FORM=IGRE Yup, a car I would not want any of you driving, your life is worth far more to me than gas mileage. -
That was freakin awesome, would love to give it a try to beat that record!

Do a custom job, get this truck in White with the equipment you want and then do a custom two tone paint job and achieve your same affect.

I just do not get this! Why would I want an over rated too small awd Asian import when there are better American made auto's? I understand the whole gamer angle and how people seem to be caught up in this car, but to me it is just too small and a waste of money. Never will get the whole ricer car thing. -
Interesting that some companies are focusing on using garbage and other sources for Ethanol productions rather than food stocks. http://www.e-energymarket.com/news/single-news/article/bluefire-ethanol-ready-to-reach-ambitious-goals.html Better yet is our own gov is showing that non-food based ethanol has a better energy rate and uses less supplied energy to create ethanol. http://www.afdc.energy.gov/fuels/ethanol_fuel_basics.html Time to kill the corn subsidies and let the farmers fight it out in a free market.

Last night I had dreams about Cheers and Gears...
G. David Felt replied to A Horse With No Name's topic in The Lounge
WOW, I never dream due to my narcolepsy and it must be amazing to dream. Keep em coming. -
This thing is so not worth it, Maybe $500 as a potential part out rig, but rust has the upper hand based on the photo's and it would appear they took 4 tail gates and made a bed out of it again based on the photos. PASS/JEERS

Hyundai News:2013 Hyundai Genesis Sees Some Changes
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Hyundai
Impressive list and yet I still feel that this car is just another Chevy competitor trying to say they have luxury. It is hard to describe, but looking at the car and reading the spec sheet, this is the first car that just leaves me with a vague blaw feeling. -
Car pics that make you go OMG...
G. David Felt replied to A Horse With No Name's topic in The Lounge
I agree with you... except if you're parking in NYC (or another VERY tight metro), the dumb Smart seats a big guy better than a Cruze or Malibu and parks anywhere at a fraction of the hassle... and suddenly makes sense. I can understand it in that situation, and even though I like small cars, the A segment cars like Scion IQ, Smart, Fiat 500 are too small in my book. +1 they are all too small in my book too! -

Ford must think they have the product to compete against Buick and yet they are farther from the truth than they realize. I suspect they need some major gutting of upper management. You know, those that have been sitting on their ass for the last 30 years.- 25 replies

I am sure he would fit in a CTS or XTS far better than that Buick. Course non of us Shreks really fit into any car, just keep us in our Full Size SUV's. -
Honda News: Honda Readies Their Ford SYNC Competitor
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Honda
I still think Honda is making a mistake here by putting this into a limited group of cars, they should do their whole product line and get this going sooner rather than later. Role it out car by car, but plan to have it out to all cars within 6 months. -
Lexus News: Rumorpile: What's In Store For The Lexus IS
G. David Felt replied to William Maley's topic in Toyota
While it could end up being a competitor, it also could end up being a pig as the luxury category seems to always want to start out doing a light weight version and then the It must have everything luxury on it and ends up being bloated. Should be interesting to see what happens considering that their style is anything but a style with the predator nose.
