  1. @Drew Dowdell Maybe if they had taken the Trailblazer / Envoy EXT and made it a 5ft bed it would have been good. After seeing this, I think if they had put a 5 foot bed on it, it would have been a better seller. Plus add electric motor assist for a hybrid.
  2. I am as much an Idiot as Anyone else in this world and have to continue to learn and change all the time. Growing with Humanity to live in our universe and get our butts off this rock into space. Life is ever changing and static is what kills off things not change. Embracing change is why I love and care about everyone and everything and even you Blu. I would never want you to not speak your mind but please try and put yourself as I do in other people's shoes to understand why we need to evolve and why rolling back rather than extending the date of improving things is a mistake. Wishing you the best in your life.
  3. You are spot on about the Scion brand.
  4. Yes it works and works well. Key important step that many get impatient about, Once you wipe it on the windshield, you have to do it like a wax job and work it over the glass and then let it dry. Depending on Humidity, it can be a few min to an hour. Once it is dry you buff it to a shine and in slow or fast speed, it just beads up and rolls off. Are you really letting the RainX dry to a haze and get fully dry? Once it is dry and you buff it to a shine, even in low speed it just beads up and rolls off. I do my windshields once a week and never have a problem with them in slow speed or high speed traffic and I never have it streak. I buy it in the bulk pack from Costco with two spray bottles and a refill bottle. @oldshurst442 The great thing about the spray is once you do it once a week, it builds up on the windshield and then during winter time you can go every other week, but it just beads up the water. I Put on a pair of Bosch Wipers every other year as RainX is that good at extending the life of the wiper. No skipping, no streaking, Just make sure to let it dry and buff it to a shine. Then Enjoy the Warp Speed effect. Wife Loves that the beads fly off at Freeway speed and she uses the wipers on delay. Heavy splash of water also clears fast.
  5. I would have to agree as the weight has BALLOONED since all the required safety gear that has pushed up weight and roll over protection.
  6. I get the autosense wipers, but like @balthazar I do not miss not having it as I rainX my windshields and all the auto's have it fly off faster than a wiper. Kinda like going Warp Speed. Wife, Daughter and Son all love it and are sold on it for their auto's.
  7. I would hope that you would stay with something bigger. I would hate to have you get hurt in such a small auto. Yes I know it is rated well for crash testing, but the facts still remain the same, small auto's are not as safe as being in something bigger. Your Life to me is worth more than the MPG they give. SmartCar between two trucks. Chevy Sonic Accident I would hate for anyone on this Forum to be in an accident in a compact or especially subcompact car. I cherish everyone here.
  8. I am disappointed that Cadillac did not show off an EV at the NY show.
  9. Saw one of the death trap Alfa Milano on the road today, surprised it was still running. I just find their style Cannot stand or see what is great about the alfa lineup. Costing money that should have been invested in Ram, Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler.
  10. My gut tells me that the BOLT and VOLT Platforms will be used to make up CAFE what the Sonic and Spark cover, thought the Spark will probably be kept around a bit longer for entry level price point. In a City with full size SUV / Trucks, I would not feel safe in a Sonic or Spark either. Pass on them.
  11. Makes sense to take a page from Audi and simplify the platforms to FWD or AWD and have them as ICE, Hybrid and EV.
  12. Makes sense to use the platform Porsche is building and as a 4 door sedan for them.
  13. What a shame to kill such a beautiful tree and one that was hiding away so much Greenhouse gas. If it was an old truck restored, very cool, but this is just a patch work of puke who ever thought it was good. I just do not get it.
  14. So this is the last monthly report, so the next time we get sales numbers will be July for Q2 of the calendar year I believe?
  15. This makes sense especially from a performance standpoint for bonuses. It would be best for the whole auto industry to go this route.
  16. Wrong not the Floating nav screen of MB. This one has no space under it and you can see from the side it is clearly built into the dash unlike MB where it was a monitor arm to the screen, true floating. This one is based into the dash with no open area around the bottom.
  17. @Cubical-aka-Moltar Thank you for posting the PDF file. Now I can review it. Interesting that they have a Cadillac Connected Access 10yrs on the auto. Luxury, Premium and Sport are the 3 levels in this CUV. Plenty of USB and 12 volt outlets around the auto. That is good. 3 different Fascia inserts depending on the model level. Manual rake and Telescoping Steering Column on Luxury line, Upgradable on the Premium and Sport level to a power system as part of the Tech Package. This should just be there standard from day one on a luxury level auto. Seems Luxury level is awfully manual for a Luxury line auto. Seems everyone is putting in Massage seats. Wonder how long it will last before breaking? Packages I would want: Cold Weather Package Comfort and Convenience Package Technology Package Cadillac user experience with Nav system for better stereo as well as Apple and Android play Driver awareness package Driver assist package Enhanced Visibility Package Active Sport Chassis Trailering Provision Interior Seat package options are as follows: Jet Black Jet Black with Cinnamon Accents Jet Black / Platinum Light Wheat / Jet Black with Red accents Sedona / Jet Black. Exterior Colors: Crystal White Tricoat Atlantic Metallic Radiant Silver Metallic Stellar Black Metallic Shadow Metallic Autumn Metallic Red Horizon Tricoat Interesting mix of colors with trim: With Aluminum metallized trim. With Diamond Cut genuine aluminum trim. With Linear Galaxy high-gloss genuine wood trim. Requires (WPC) Comfort and Convenience Package. With Fineline Calico high-gloss genuine wood trim. With Twenty Two high-gloss genuine Carbon Fiber trim. With Morello Red high-gloss genuine Carbon Fiber trim. With Morello Red high-gloss genuine Carbon Fiber trim. Includes Jet Black accent inserts in seatback. Available at extra charge. This applies to all paints except the Radiant Silver Metallic. Interesting
  18. Some more picks at the Reveal that confirms that I like the new Dash and you can see one of the two tone interiors. Looks like the Black with Bone white. https://www.gettyimages.com/event/cadillac-xt4-reveal-ahead-of-the-2018-new-york-international-auto-show-775147374#the-general-motors-co-cadillac-xt4-sports-utility-vehicle-is-unveiled-picture-id938948406 Pre-order PDF file can be grabbed here. If someone can do it and post it that would be great, my work is blocking it. http://cadillacsociety.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/2019-Cadillac-XT4-Order-Guide-Revised-March-24-2018.pdf
  19. Deliver this AS IS to the Market and you will have a Winner Winner Chicken Dinner on your hands!
  20. Nice looking sedan as sedans go and it fits the Nissan family. Should sell well for them. My only hold up is that based on past experiences, I have NO FAITH in the CVT lasting past 60-70 thousand miles. CVT is a great engineering concept, but after all these years, has FAILED to live up to its potential and traditional Geared transmissions have proven to be far superior. Big PASS on this for me due to CVT.
  21. This could be a true renaissance of Lincoln if they can bring out quickly a new product portfolio of SUV/CUVs that are done like this. Potential light after all for Lincoln!
  22. Done right, Family connection to the big momma and sharp. Could be a decent Hybrid to own. Look forward to seeing one in person.
  23. Sorry but last time I tried them I had their Philly and ended up with Food Poisoning. The Arby's around me seem to be run poorly and the health department is constantly hitting them for improper sanitation. I question if any will still be open by the end of the year. PASS
  24. Meah, have it look like a baby 4Runner and still a plastic bundle of Blah.
