  1. Yawn, front reminds me of a Boring Honda, Back reminds me of the ugly Aztek. Who the hell thinks up these styles? Pass!
  2. Motors Of History, Including the 1916 Hybrid with Regenerative brakes! C&D did this history of motors that have made a mark, have to say awesome that in 1916 the first Hybrid powertrain was produced with regenerative brakes. Shows it just took 100 years to make it a variable reality. 14HP ICE and 6HP EV. http://www.caranddriver.com/flipbook/engines-au-naturel-an-unfettered-look-under-the-hood-at-some-of-historys-most-significant-engines Love the steam motors, turbines, etc. So cool. Check it out.
  3. Love the Hatch design, space and while not a fan of DOHC engines with high HP and low Torque, at least it has AWD. Body Style and Dash are my hang ups with this. Traditional Bland VW style. Does nothing for me, ignites no passion or excitement. I look at the Dash and see an IRS audit. BLAH, ARGhhhhhhh. Body Style is like dating a nune.
  4. So the QUESTION to ask all those that blame CUE and do not either know or ignor the haptic feedback is as follows: If CUE is so bad, then does this not also make your iPhone, Android, etc. just as bad? No real buttons for the most part and just haptic feedback off the screen buttons? I am willing to bet that many of Consumer Reports writers as well as so many others use iPhone's or other Android based phones that have some form of Haptic feedback and you all seem fine with that. So if your looking down at your manual based buttons which take just as much time as the CUE interface, then how is this any different? Like all auto's if you read your owners manual, learn your auto interface, the seconds are the same be it a manual button, switch, toggle, etc compared to touching the cue screen. Same feedback confirmation. No difference in the distraction.
  5. Hopefully the EV version will actually look better.
  6. So Right, Fixed now that I am not on crud drugs and half asleep.
  7. J1772 is the SAE standard for Level 1 & 2 charging. It is the Rapid Fast Charging that is undergoing review and the SAE is planning on setting a standard for this summer 2017, I then expect to see a J1772-2017 updated SAE standard.
  8. Very cool pic, does your DMV require mud flaps? Going to add anything to the back or just run it as is?
  9. Gotta Love today's BING web page, those otters in the snow are so cute! http://www.bing.com/
  10. Honestly, I expect the BOLT to be the game changer once it is in all states. I expect it to sell out all year long as people want to not bother with fuel and the maintenance of an ICE auto. This will drive people and just as people are used to plugging their phone in at night when they go to bed, plugging in their auto for the night to charge will be no big deal. Washington state you are now seeing gas stations add a section for rapid charging level 3. Yes it is still a 15-20 min charge time to get 80% of capacity, but for many that is more than enough to finish their trip to point B. I agree with Hyper that once we get true Rapid Charging in place to reduce this to minutes like fueling an ICE auto, that EV's will take off.
  11. Forbes List of 15 Auto's to Avoid Forbes have published their 2017 auto list to avoid. This is based on their reviews of Consumer reports rating and JD Powers ranking. Interesting you can click the link above to read all the details of what they state for each auto but the list shakes down as follows: BMW 7 Series Cadillac XTS Dodge Journey Fiat 500L Jeep Compass Jeep Patriot Jeep Wrangler Lincoln MKS Lincoln MKT Mitsubishi iMiEV Mitsubishi Mirage Nissan Armada Nissan Titan Scian iQ Smart ForTwo
  12. Honda, FYI Pull your head out of the Glue Gun and stop sniffing some stupid Marketing spin. YOUR FULL OF BS! People will not bother buying your EV as 80 miles is pathetic in todays age and you failed to pay attention to the market and what the competition was doing. Only badge snobby idiots will pay $35,000 for your EV when they can get a far superior EV at Chevy for less. Saying this is needed for their fuel cell is a joke, Fuel Cells are more expensive and it takes more energy to fuel a fuel cell auto than a pure EV. Honda is on the wrong end of this one as I question GM on it also as I think we will not see the market move to hydrogen powered auto's. Rock on BOLT! Rock On!
  13. Sadly the web site for building them gives no other options for powertrain then the 4 banger with 9 speed auto tranny. I have to say this is one area that they should have had an option at least for the Trailhawk edition.
  14. @surreal1272 Seems Don Lee the Cartoonest has made one just for you! The Trumpflake Stamp!
  15. Hell no, I would not let just anyone drive my performance auto. So many people abuse public transit and for free parking you think someone would treat your auto with respect. Think again Morese!
  16. Nice Looking just wish the TRAILhawk has a power bump option or something other than just a looks package and few off road tweaks. All TRAILhawks should have a more powerful powertrain than the rest of the lineup.
  17. RIP Bill Paxton, The only man to be killed by a Predator, Alien and Terminator! RIP
  18. I will be honest that PSA has nothing of interest to me and in talking to others, many have not cared for their style. So be interesting to see if it is the same customers Fiat has grabbed, those that want weird quirky european style small cramped auto's. I really question their ability to make it here.
  19. That is one bad ass Camaro. Makes ya wonder what the final numbers will be when this beast laps the track 3 seconds faster than last years edition. WOW
  20. Awesome Balthazar, natural back wheel hop for being so lite in the butt, very cool.
  21. Nice looking Hatch, I wish the back did not cut down loosing interior room and especially headroom in the back. Like the LED outline of the headlights. The little one can see on the interior shows the seats to be thick and well supported, makes me wonder just how much space is in the back seat? I do wonder how many of the LCD screen will be broken off as it sticks up and I can see people going to adjust the rearview mirror and hitting the screen and breaking it backwards.
  22. So a 1.5L 3 banger to undercut tax's and yet I have not been impressed with the cylinder deactivation feature on any of the various auto companies. I am not seeing the benefit that marketing is bragging about.
  23. Interesting, how you turn a 3 billion profit to a 1 billion profit due to clearly book numbers playing. As Drew has said about Opel and GM, clearly there is a shell game afoot with these companies. http://media.renault.com/global/en-gb/renaultgroup/Media/PressRelease.aspx?mediaid=87144 http://amigobulls.com/stocks/NSANY/income-statement/annual Nissan was stronger the Renault but they did drop in 2016 from 2015. Interesting shell game of the numbers.
  24. What a Joke, waste of the Hybrid system with only a 14kWh battery. Pathetic.
  25. Why not, they did it for the Trailblazer SS AWD that I love and has never let me down. Would love to see an Acadia or Terrain Typhoon Edition AWD using the TTV6.
