I doubt GM would loose the Presidents Cadillac due to stupid thinking like this. I bet that the CT6 or Escalade like Drew states can be used but they do not want to advertise it yet. I expect this business to continue.

G. David Felt Alternative Fuels & Propulsion writer www.CheersandGears.com Tesla Sales up 55% for Q1 Time Frame. Record Tesla Sales reports on ABC. Tesla sold 10,030 autos for Q1 and is reported as expecting to have over all sales of 55,000 auto's this year up from 31,000 last year. Tesla is focused to bring costs down via lower battery pack cost and the new SUV Model X to be released in 2016. This will come through reduced costs with their own battery factory and using main stream parts that can reduce costs. Course it is interesting to hear about the states that have passed laws to ban like West Virginia that says auto manufactures cannot sell direct to the public and must use a dealership franchise. Worth a listening / watching of the video. April 30th Tesla to release a new product that is not a auto. Interesting to see what it is. Tesla Tweet about new product My gut tells me a new EV Motorcycle. Some are saying a home storage unit for Solar power and quick DC Charging. 2014 Energy Storage Symposium - JB Straubels Keynote - YouTube

This is where the Compact pickup truck could excel. Forget the mid size and build a true compact pickup truck.- 30 replies

I highly recommend Jet Chips. They really give GM small Blocks some amazing improvements over OEM Chips. http://jetchip.com/

No loss for the CD player, while I use what few CD's I have in my Escalade, I have yet to put anything in the Trailblazer. I figure with a USB port why not use a modern device that can hold more songs and no moving parts so more reliable. Does anyone know if the stereo has the ability to download music from a USB thumb drive onto the radio? Having a 20 or 40GB SSD or flash drive would be perfect for having your favorite tunes ready for a road trip.

So does the nav screen come up like in the Cadillac or is that just a reflection cover like a baseball hat to keep the sun off the display?

I am in the minority that takes my weekends and vacation to do road trips with 25-30K miles a year so for me I mile out a warranty before aging out the warranty.

Grew up in my dads auto repair business, rebuilt plenty of Holly carbs and Isuzu carbs. Love the work, but just does not pay like working in the computer industry. Now I am just about everything DI so never will probably touch them especially after I change out the top end of my Suburban so it can support DI for Petrol and CNG.

I get the Feeling that FORD is thinking if Audi can do FWD/AWD and make money so can we. Sadly they do not have the recognition that Audi already has and as such they are going to have to build that with Lincoln.

Nice enough update that current peeps will trade in the older model to buy this and updated enough to maintain if not grow a little market share.

Not sure what it is about this update but it does not hit me like the original did and maybe that is the problem. Expecting major changes rather than minor tweaks.

Speaking of which - Bloomberg: How a Former Audi Guy Plans to Spend $12 Billion Reviving Caddy I love this quote from the Bloomberg Story! "Ellinghaus has been tearing up the advertising to try to carve out some space for Cadillac as the antidote to every boring rich guy’s BMW or Mercedes. " I just hope that we start to see some cool dedicated advertising that reaches out to all age groups. Have not seen any new advertising yet but hope they are doing it around the NY Auto Show. I also found this quote to be very TRUE! "As the German automakers try to be the largest in the world, they will take fewer risks and become more bland, he said. That gives Cadillac an opportunity to be individualistic and appeal to younger luxury buyers."
