  1. What like rolling over and accepting any and everything to the point that you even believe that you can't make a difference anymore. That sounds like a perfect plan for failure to me.
  2. Channel 9 breaking news Mini & BMW parking ONLY!
  3. I saw 1 that was sold by mistake to a civy at a cruise in and loved it even with that interior (a gem in the rough)
  4. seat
  5. Wow in my own backyard and I don't remember this at all. He were awfully lucky to live through this I wonder how full a recovery he made? I think that piece of spoiler and lower ground FX could be salvaged though . All I could think of was The Dukes of Hazard & Smokey & the Bandit.
  6. Just think if Old GM would have done that with the Corvair as progressive as it was maybe the Volt would have been the Corvolt
  7. So GM will put in a heavier TTV6 that will make less HP than a Gen V V8 all the while using the smallest bolts to save the least little bit of weight . That sure is progress . Being a mechanic myself I would worry about this car 10 years from build date here in the rust belt though those tiny bolts popping off sure sounds like $$$$ to me for the flat rate guys. Yeah I've seen what the engineers can do if you take the bridal away en it aint purddy!
  8. I don't buy that one as the 73 & up GM mid size were wagons absolutely. Drew I'm with you on the cargo area being longer than tall. Suburban and Flex are wagons also from someone who had more wagons than most people had cars in their first decade of driving.
  9. shouldered
  10. "Styling will share cues from the new ILX, with a more rear-drive design and large rear fenders." RWD cars have large rear fenders
  11. The car is a low mile smog muscle car that alone makes it for me the bonus of being cheap just adds to the mixture. The Maverick/Comet was like Novas Darts Hornets et all. They were indestructible fuel efficient and optioned correctly quite fast. Being that it is the pricier model and in nice shape it would make a fine entry into the world of 60-70's cars I vote Cheers Sorry Camino
  12. Happy Bday Paulie sorry so late
  13. I would have thought that Ytown to have a robust bus line and feed the suburbs. In Dayton RTA feeds Montgomery & Greene county's
  14. Yeah I saw problems with the connection Yday and again this morning. Camino I too look to see who is reading a post while I am. I think my puter is the most aged in the bunch AMD2000+ with just on board sound & video MSI board and only3/4 gig of mem
  15. half
  16. Not much partying but I had a Great day on the 20th with my daughters and the grand kids we had a fish & wing fry a few beers(Yuengling Light) and my fave cake(cherry pudding). Saw Mom on my Bday and towed my bro's Sunfire with a seizing engine about 2.5mi in freezing rain. I'm alive and kicking and won't let this economy get me down. Thanx guys you help me with the latter problem more than you know.
  17. There's always the bus
  18. They were ahead of their time
  19. I saw #1016 at the Henry Ford Museum twice in '74 & '82. I'd like to see a few more it's such a cool car
  20. fail
  21. Well same thing add a W I'm dyslexic they're both German Lux car makers who's fans think they can not do wrong with ALL the money they've got for development.
  22. The reason as to why is due to exorbitant costs to develop a production model to meet regulations; specifically, handling, stability and crash standards." "Wow and I thought that MB had uber Duetsche marks and could build anything and be the bestes of the best.
  23. That would be so cool with a small turbo diesel and OD, lowered a bit while done up as a boulevard cruiser.
  24. I was disappointed with the Camaro until the last run through the gears and that was a glimpse of Heaven on Earth. To me the sound I miss the most is the tranny whine in the muscle car sound mix. Another sound I miss is from the front pump of a Powerglide not that I want one or anything. The mileage sucked on my buddy's 327 275HP 67 Imp sport sedan. But the sound was great, at least to a 52y/o gear head. Moms 62 Belair wagon & a couple of my Corvairs had them. Its just like eating food and going back to your childhood Thanx for the memories sorry for an old timers trivial pursuit.
  25. Von after rereading from the start I'm thinking you might have the scan tool plugged in while driving and look at the info on the O2 as far as lean/rich codes also the outside air temp sender could be faulty. Anyways would need a flow chart as this is just fishing w/o a scan tool & flow chart. Good luck & keep us informed
