    I did the same thing with my Roadmaster with the governor but the wagon was ltd to 108 whereas the sedans were aerodynamically governed aprox at 154mph. I did it on mistake the computer that was sold to me from a wagon but in fact came from a sedan. I did some reading and found that wagons go 4-5 fewer mph than sedans but don't have a safe place to find out. Also the drive train is the same on all cars excepting the rear axle ratios.

    I see that now Ocn the first time I posted I had missed it but the hatch is only available with the 1.8l na I4 wile the sedan you can opt for the turbo in higher trims

    Saw one over the weekend sedan and was moving fast and didn't get a good look what I saw though was good narrow & tall but good. Spark & Sonic look too similar to me though.

    Lets not hold our breath, this study screams of EVIL AUTOS and POLLUTION. Chris Dones post shows that his poor friend in a depressed state tried to pollute himself out of this world and couldn't because it didn't pollute enough. Chris not trying to be crude just using that fact as it was in current memory and you are a true friend of his I hope I have that kind of friend if needed.

    Muffler brgs are a part and GM sourced only it's in the turbo 350 transbetween one of the clutch packs IIRC

    BOT Ocen if ya want to look to GM with referance to the Newport then look at Buick Wildcats with 430-455 Stage 1 engines even had Muncie 4spds in them. Ford I'd look to Mercury Marauders with 429 4V engine. That was the Performance Lux segment at that time. Top Lux was Caddy Imperial & Lincoln.
