  1. It doesn't nip my opinion in the bud, it just casts the weirdest f@#king light on your forum attitude. Your Ford shilling is undeniable, EVERYONE sees it. I don't care if you drive a Dodge Caravan and love it to pieces in real life, what you post online for everyone to see is some of the most egomaniacal trolling I've ever encountered. Again...another +1 vote for CP from me. This would be a -1 downvote from me... Why? Again with the self pity...the victim mentality...the crying and the whining... And...its because you....have done that to yourself... I as in OLDSHURST, El K, CP, CCAP all have said pretty much the same thing to you....JUST IN THIS THREAD ALONE!!! Is it because WE ALL HAVE A PROBLEM but not you? Go eff yourself Wings!!! Really...you are 50 effin' years old doing this schtick over and over and over again... You have a history with EL K...so we ignore that...we will give you the benefit of the doubt... I can have a potty mouth and could take things too far...so we could ignore my issues with you... But that leaves 2 other posters....JUST IN THIS THREAD... Much like your reputation down voting scandal... Yeah...its everybody else but you... GROW UP and start DISCUSSING CARS like a 50 year old...your teenaged years, and mine, are LOOOOOOONG GONE!!!
  2. Wings....its not only a ban from MT Forums... You cried to the mods once....they up voted my down votes... You cried to the mods twice...they fixed your downvotes a second time... You cried to the mods thrice...they removed th downvote system... I found this hilarous actually. I went on vacation and came back and I thought my phone just was being a dick. Come to find out that it had to be turned off?!?! That's today's society.. Gotta make everybody happy because one person unhappy... I turned it off because I was going on vacation myself and wanted to stop the misuse of the voting system. I just wanted to have a relaxing vacation. Yes...very understandable indeed... However...the misuse of the system constitutes of Wings crying to you about the downvoting... In other words... Wings is whining to you...like all the time...for his crappy reputation....to which he actually deserves...hence the downvotes he gets... Sure...not all his posts and threads are bad and crappy....some of it is quite informative... OK...for every good thread and post he makes....he has 3 crappy ones... 3 to 1 ratio. So....who cares even if his good posts get downvoted? He is a man-child... Most of his posts are crap. He gets what he deserves... There are plenty of Aesop fables one could use here... Ill use the famous "cry wolf" one... His crying wolf is two fold... When and if he ceases to be such a troll....his reputation will slowly improve negating his need to defend himself so often... And there will be no need to cry wolf to you either. Continue having a fab vacation. And Im sorry If Im causing you a headache as we speak. Its just that I like to speak my mind and give you my opinion on things. My opinion may be far from reality too, but its how I view things... And...correct me if you need to and guide me through my imperfections. I mean that sincerely.
  3. Much like Olds and other posters, I have nothing against Ford (or FCA for that matter), I generally like their products. You just tend to bring out the worst in everyone, not sure how you still can't see that after repeated bans at MT. Ahhh yes, the ban card is played as a way to ignore my point about hypocrisy. Pretty sure I directly responded to your passive-aggressive dig implying I'm somehow on your level of insane bias when I said I generally like Ford products. I'm friends with a number of Ford guys online and off. My lead guitar player is a Ford guy with a brand new Escape 1.6EB, we talk cars all the time. Somehow it never devolves into fanboyism like you bring to the table. The fact that I own vehicles from several manufacturers kind of nips your opinion right in the bud. I mostly talk about Ford. I can't help that you have issues with that. No...you mostly brand shill for Ford... Correction....you only talk about 2 brands outta the hundreds that exist in the world. 1, You brand shill for Ford with lies and innuendo 2. You trash GM with lies and innuendo Had you given us YOUR GENUINE OPINION on Ford and your GENUINE OPINIONS on why you dislike GM....then that would be cool...instead...we get trolling behavior from you...hence your banning from A FEW WEB SITES...

Somehow it never devolves into fanboyism like you bring to the table. CP gets a plus 1 vote from me.... Its too bad that the down vote system is not functional.....because Wings would be getting a couple of downvotes from me... Why? Because CP has said a truth and a reality... Wings...well...he spews lies and innuendo... Which deserves a down vote... A downvote reflects reputation...and his posts reflects just how much of a bad reputation he deserves....by his posting style...

Wings....its not only a ban from MT Forums... How many other sites have banned you? At Cheers and Gears....your reputation...its still over -100 down votes... You cried to the mods once....they up voted my down votes... You cried to the mods twice...they fixed your downvotes a second time... You cried to the mods thrice...they removed th downvote system... After a couple of up votes....and you are still ABOVE -100... To say that its ALWAYS everybody else....its just...STUPID... The mods here....have helped you to to restore SOME credibility....yet you still 1. Troll 2. brand shill 3. whine and cry to mods... 4. blame everybody BUT yourself for YOU getting banned... because 1. you troll 2. you brand shill 3. whine sooooo effin' much....even the people that want to help you cant or wont either because a. are fed up of helping you b. cant help you out any longer because you have burned waaaaay to many bridges. ABOUT HYPOCRISY.... YOU ARE ABOUT THE BIGGEST HYPOCRITE THERE IS...
  6. I just find out that my wife's older brother...the third oldest of 5...my wife being the 4rth oldest...and the youngest being another boy...dead beat boy....but he has managed to keep that job of his....and the car I gave him...is still in good running order....boy am I surprised...anyway...the third oldest brother has just bought himself a new Edge...pretty cool if you ask me. I havent seen it yet and Im curious to drive it....and yes I will drive it.... Just to say that he, the second oldest sister and my wife all own Fords. He...the 2015 Edge She...a 2012? Focus hatch Us...a 2013 Fusion. Awesome is what I have to say as not one sibling has influenced the other to buy Ford products...its just that each one of us thinks that Ford is the best answer to our car owning needs...
  7. *SIGH* This trio of vehicles is not where I am from and my way of thinking. The BMW M3. My my has she grown to be a big lady. And I dont mean that in a good way. As much as I always hated a BMW 3 Series/M3...I do respect them for what they are...and what they are...is certainly NOT what they have become. That is why I prefer and actually do like the BMW 2 Series. The previous 1M is what I prefer over the latest couple of M3/M4 generations... On to the M-B. If it had not been for the AMG badge and that V8...I dont think I would even waste my time writing about this car. For one thing...in my eyes...she is one ugly girl....unfortunately for me...she is quite the success story up here in Montreal. The new gen. regular C Class is everywhere to be seen up...and everytime I seen one...I turn away in disgust. The ATS...she is one fine piece of a$$...however...she is too tiny...and in my eyes...Cadillacs are not supposed to be that small...I am grateful that she exists though. However...I think Id prefer a Camaro over an ATS(just to stay in the GM family, because its the Mustang GT350 that I would rather have ...if we are talking about coupes...but this is about sedans...in which case...I would rather a Hellcat from Dodge...preferably a Challenger...if we are talking about the sedans...yes...I did say Challenger...and no...I do not mean Charger...) In this market niche of small RWD sports car coupes/sedans...pony car is what I dig...and the Challenger is a pony car when I need her to be and a midsized muscle car when I see fit... What would I buy from this trio? Sorry Cadillac...I think Id buy the AMG. Why? V8. And slightly bigger. Its the slightly bigger part that actually wins me over and not the V8 over the TTV6. Yup...space would trump looks in this case...because like I said...had space not been a factor, Mustang GT350/Camaro/Challenger Hellcat is where Im at.
  8. Yeah... But why must we always equate Camaro/Mustang equals V8 performance. Isnt there any room for 4 cylinder pony car performance in 2015? I'm asking a legit question because V8 Camaros and Mustangs dont exactly come cheap anymore. I mean...sure a BRZ costs as much as a V6 Camaro...so that does not exactly make a BRZ any cheaper...and its certainly not any faster...or sportier than a V6 Camaro...but....alls Im saying...is that a 4 cylinder Camaro need not play second fiddle to performance to a V8 Camaro. Im mean...a 4 cylinder Z/24 Camaro need not slay and take away from a V8 Camaro...but a Z/24 4 cylinder Camaro could be a notch above performance in spped and handling to BRZ...and a notch below V8 Camaro.... And yes...EXACTLY...looking at an EB Mustang...a Z/24 Camaro besting an EB Mustang by a mile...Cadillac ATS handling performance with a tad more speed at Chevy prices and features... But then again....that just negates what the ATS is there for...to do battle with BMW 2 and 3 Series cars...and a Camaro like a possible Z/24 would be exactly that... Maybe when the ATS becomes a tad bigger like the current 3/4 Series and the CTS goes away...maybe a Z/28 Camaro would be possible then...
  9. I gotta grin from this post. As crazy as the idea of a 4 cylinder Camaro...boosted or not....being called a Z/24 is....its fantastic. But...a Z/24 Camaro 4 cylinder better be a track friendly and tuned friendly Camaro being able to compete with cars such as the BRZs and Genesis Coupes.... And its not a far fetched idea as there is a Turbo 4 cylinder ATS being sold chez Cadillac... Who said that a 4 cylinder Camaro should be a base level Camaro? I mean...why wouldnt a base 4 cylinder Camaro not be a capable machine just because there is an available 8 cylinder bigger brother around? Im sure Chevy could easily market and peddle 2 equally performing Camaros...one with 4 cylinders and another with 8 cylinders. Why not?
  10. Here...Ill join you with the font and size to ruffle some more panties. WINGS IS A MAN-CHILD (Its just that I'd rather make fun of you...) (Let's see if you go cryin' to a mod seeing as you like to talk the talk that you are a tough guy...)
  11. .GM budgets the same solid axle suspension designs for their $100K premium Cadillac SUV That right there...makes you look like a pansy boy. 1. Cadillac Escalade sales are impressive...it seems nobody cares that is has solid rear axles 2. the fact that the Escalade sells for 100 grand...and the way it sells....its telling that nobody cares it has got solid rear axles... 3. the fact that it is a land yacht SUV the size of a football field and its intentions are to have a smooth ride...which it does...and the fact that the Escalade sells so well...proves that nobody cares that the Escalade has solid rear axles... 4. the fact that the Escalade has no sporty intentions for corner carving....and the fact that the Escalade sells so well...for 100 000 dollars...proves that nobody cares that the Escalade has solid rear axles... The fact that the only idiot on this planet that cares it has solid rear axles is you....proves that there in absolutely no need for an Escalade to have solid rear axles... So you can whine to your momma and cry to your grandma...the Escalade does well in the market place....selling at 100 000 American dollars...it sucks to be you...in other words... BTW...I heard a rumor that GM trucks...that would be the General Motors Corporation is outselling the Ford Motor Corporation in truck sales.... Now,,,that REALLY sucks to be you....you know...the Ford fanatic that you are... For some reason...this is how I am picturing you in reading those sales figures WTF??? Yup...the Philly Fanatic....because you are a Ford Fanatic....a clown in other words...and just as despicable...and loathsome...and cartoonish...
  12. ^^^ That's wonderful news. Most of the time, even if boy racer is functional (regardless, that rear spoiler thingy is atrocious), I only like to see boy racer on Lambos, Ferraris, Vettes and Pontiacs.
  13. With that being said of why I hate Top Gear and Jeremy...I hope they dont stray away from that formula...and if they dont...the show will be epic never the less...as i have a feeling Jeremy will be more of an ass...because chip on shoulder...and THAT is the key to success...
  14. EXACTLY how I feel about that as well. They will knock British build quality along with everything else. Not just American stuff or not just Japanese stuff..or Chinese.. All of them. This is an example of why I hate Top Gear and find it lame...playing on stereotypes for the British/European audience...
  15. I know; I just read about it. Im sad now. RIP.
  16. *SIGH* The more I think about it, the more I go nuts. Just one thing to say...I wished Oldsmobile was still alive just because this car would make a kick ass Oldsmobile Cutlass 442. And THAT is what I keep on thinking about. I know it was for the best that Oldsmobile went away....its just that this 2016 Cadillac CTS-V is nothing but a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 W-30 in spirit. Im more of an Olds guy than I am a Cadillac man. I do love this car though. And I love the fact that this car has the folk at Stuttgart (Mercedes AND Porsche) , Munich (BMW) and Ingolstadt (Audi) on their minds. I love the fact that Cadillac left Motown...because...(I ove Detroit...but...) Cadillac was just a reflection of what life used to be... And went to New York... because... Cadillac needed to be in a New York state of mind. In a New York Groove. Because in a New York minute, it could make you, or break you. You know what they say. If you could make it there, you could make it anywhere...NEW YORK NEW YORK. Its the home of Superman...AND Batman....and the Ghostbusters for crying out loud. The home of the 5 families of La Cosa Nostra. In other words... Those Germans are screwed...
  17. One problem I have with this car...its the back end. I hate that rear spoiler lip thingy. If I was buying a CTS-V...Id try to get a rear spoiler delete...I wouldnt even want a credit....if fact...Id probably pay Cadillac to remove it. If not...Id definitely rip it off.
  18. American Muscle Cars. With a vengeance.
  19. By all means, I dont want them to lose their "Britishness" just to play to a "world" audience. The world IS STILL watching reruns of Top Gear UK because of who Jeremy, Hammond and Captain Slow are...its THAT waht makes the show special...THEIR chemistry and WHAT CHARACTERS they play on their TV show. Its their British humor with their aloofness that makes the show a hot ticket world wide.
  20. I still watch the show myself, and get a chuckle or two I must admit. I wish them well on this new show...and like you said, I hope they can continue on with their chemistry. Its magical what they got. Its not often you see that anymore. I applaud their efforts.
  21. Yeah...I like that from them....its when they make fun of certain aspects of a culture other than the British one and act all smug about it...see the Red Neck episode... At first...I found that episode funny, then I saw it a second time...enough time to analyze it...and...well...that was a tad boorish...I did enjoy how they drove the American cars in that episode though...funny stuff...making fun of a bouncing Cadillac...through British eyes...is quite funny...or talking about how murders like to drive Camaros....North Americans say that guys with mullets drive Camaros...hey...why not a murderer with a mullet? I also did not like the serious attempt to critique and analyze the cars they tested, but their analysis was always based on perceived notions anyway... Its OK when testing a 1980s Cadillac and coming to a conclusion that it is/was a land yacht, but to harp on the fact that a C6 Corvette is cheaply made..because its made from fiberglass just to play for the British television audience....it becomes lame...PS...Corvettes have alwys been made with fiberglass....why not mention that itty bitty bit of information? I understand Top Gear UK was meant for THEIR audience...just dont try to come across as truthful journalistic program them... Don Cherry, lets the people know its HIS opinion....and he holds HIS opinions dearly...problem is...Don Cherry also calls it as HE sees it...he does NOT play to an audience...and if a Canadian hockey player does something he hates....he lets that Canadian boy have it....as with the Top Gear Trio...yeah I know...entertainment...like I said...it gets lame fast what they do...
  22. Actually, the BBC let them run wild and let them do what they wanted...so much so...that Jeremy did not know where to stop...as he had no boundaries....he had no idea where the line was...until he went too far...see Mexico...see Argentina...see him get all hissy fissy over food... In other words...like a spoiled brat who has no discipline at home...Jeremy became a problem child after. I hope Jeremy learned something from his stupidity, because right after his tirade against that producer, it seems like he didnt take responsibility of his ownactions...and blamed the BBC for 'effin' up a good show... I hope this show does not play for the British Television audience. After awhile...that gets lame... I do hope that they continue with their childish antics...minus the xenophobia stuff...and minus the needless bashing of certain cars...only the ones that deserve it...Morris Minor for instance...
  23. I think his head would have exploded just on the thought of a mainstream car having 707 HP. I agree on the comparison though. I had rented a 2005 300C a decade ago and he took it for a spin...he had a smile from ear to ear. He told me that he hadnt felt a rush like that since his GTO. I fell in love with that Hemi as well...We took a small trip to Lake George, NY with it and Ive wanted a Hemi ever since. I was considering it for a purchase, hence the rental part, it was a way to test drive it...I ended up with a W-Body Chevy Impala SS instead. Because of the stupid snow... AWD you say? NAH...not for me...either FWD, or RWD...but never AWD. ok...so Im a liar...I traded in my Impala for an Acura TL........SH-AWD. Only because I buy the top of the line trims and I wanted the 3.7 liter 305 horsey V6...
  24. Blanket statements keep me warm on dark and stormy Montreal winter nights. *SIGH* That is why I cant own one of these....either in Charger or Challenger guise. The dark and stormy winter night part is kinda of a kill joy for a person that only has a budget for a daily driver...so one has to choose wisely for one. I soooooo want a Challenger Hellcat. What I dont get, is how in the heck did my dad do it? He drove a 1970 Pontiac GTO when I was born... I guess Im not half the man my dad was...
  25. I'm pretty frugal I guess. My bike is the same age as me, and I've used up all the bearing systems. I tortured the hell out of the old wheels and so was forced to upgrade. Heck, I can build a bike now for under $60 and have it ride better and last longer than anything from Crappy Tire (It's a common enough Canadian hardware/department/auto parts big box store). That aint frugal my friend...that is the way to do it. That is the smart way. I laugh at some of my neighbors...not my direct neighbors, but the people that live in my community...and Im sure its everywhere in North America... I see some people with $5000, $6000, $7000, $10 000 dollar bikes and they are dressed like they are training for Le Tour de France. A $200 bike from Crappy Tire minus 50% sales or when they have their scratchy ticket is good enough....yes I know...these bikes are not tuned...yada yada yada...we are not training for Le Tour de France!!! Besides...when I was young...I had a $75 (in 1984) 12 speed bike bought at Sears...heavy like you wouldnt believe...and I rode that thing everywhere until I got my driver's license at 17....and I did not need to train my legs too much when I started weight training as that heavy bike made my legs huge! To boot, I was FASTER then these idiots today....actually, I still benefit from that bike as my legs are pretty muscular...and guess what? I could probably keep up with them in speed and in stamina...and my bike is a Schwinn bought at Crappy Tire for $150. %50 off from $300. And its a hybrid...its a cruiser rather than a speedster...but it gets the job done... $5000 dollars for a stinkin' bike!!! What farce!
