  1. We didnt win gold that year. (In 2018) We did win bronze. Everyone is a winner, right? At least I dont drive a CUV... Anyway, St Lazare didnt win anything that year because we were the reason they didnt qualify for the medal round. In 2017, they won gold while we won bronze. They were the reason why we played for the bronze medal. In 2019, we beat ourselves and didnt make it to the medal round. They won Gold. In 2020, we could have won Gold but there was no medal tournament. Just games (Covid) and we were the best team in our league. Last year we fell short in qualifying for the medal round. Yup, our final game to qualify for a medal to determine if we play for bronze and we had to beat them. We didnt. They beat us thrusting them to the Gold game. They won gold. If we beat them that game, we would play each other for the bronze....
  2. xcept we also won a couple of times against them. In 2018 as the last time. Just to say we dont always lose to them. That bald dude is me. My daughter is the 5th girl counting left to right. 3 coaches. Myself at the right. Head coach to the right of me and the coach at the far right. This year we are two coaches. Myself and another dad. we both share head coaching. we have a chance to win it all this year, including beating that rascal of a St Lazare team!
  3. LOL My arch nemesis we keep losing to them. All else is someone trying real hard to troll...
  4. And what do you call this post?
  5. No.... This belongs here as to discuss Musk's incompetency. Its about Musk as the discussion around vaccines were directed by YOU to BE about Musk... stop trolling...
  6. you are not that obtuse.... Stop trolling...
  7. Funny though, Mary Barra's personal life, and the other CEOs, remain private. THAT is what YOU @ccap41 are TROLLING about... Once again, you are proven to just be a-trollin' around... Grow up.....
  8. Somebody else can and will take his place... But lets not forget the shytty dialogue he had that questioned what 5 billion dollars could do for poverty... He MIS-DIRECTED what the intentions were by playing on words that 5 billion dollars doesnt end poverty. And if he was showed that 5 billion dollars could end poverty, he would sell 5 billion dollars worth of his own Tesla shares to quote on quote, "end poverty". well, the hypocrisy is laid on thick here: 1. He CANT sell 5 billion dollars worth of Tesla stock because Tesla stock is pretty much useless and quite possibly worthless... a) half a year later and he wants to buy Twitter for 8 times that, but cant... Solving poverty right???!!! b) Tesla is LOSING billions so the investors wont ALLOW him to sell ANY Tesla stock for Twitter OR for poverty... 2. Whatever amount he has invested in this vaccine endeavor, it will probably EAT 5 billion in NO TIME... a) according to his thought process, its USELESS to spend 5 billion even TRYING to make a difference, because he KNOWINGY MISDIRECTED the 5 billion dollar intention of TRYING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE AND 5 BILLION DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE b) In actual truth, HE does NOT need to be INVOLVED in this as there are MANY PHARMACEUTICAL companies WORLDWIDE with ENDLESS AMOUNTS of WORLDWIDE GOVERNMENT MONEY FUNDING FOR VACCINES... ENOUGH MONEY TO CREATE CONSPIRACY THEORIES ALL OVER THE WORLD. AND DARE I SAY: RIGHTFULLY SO FOR ALL THESE CONSPIRACY THEORIES???!!! yeah....maybe he SHOULD use ALL that energy in trying to IMPROVE Tesla, and let others find the solutions to Earth's problems. He is no phoquing saviour of ANY kind... Maybe he should try and save...oh...I dunno.....Tesla... He gives GREAT advice and solutions for OTHERS to follow, but unfortunately HIS own business endeavors are a phoquing mess... That is not a good luck for you or for him... His personal life is ALSO on twitter and social media BECAUSE he LIVES on social media... https://www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/elon-musks-trans-child-wants-nothing-to-do-with-dad-billionaire-leans-toward-support-of-desantis/ Maybe he could offer Marry Barra parental advice too on Twitter?
  9. Id rather thank the doctors and lab research workers instead. THE actual folk that are ACTUALLY doing the problem solving and work to find a cure. Musk is just the story telling salesman employing the doctors and lab researchers.... Kudos for him....but no praise....
  10. Its not about how many entrepreneurial endeavors or how many humanitarian tasks entrepreneurs take on. Its how well they accomplish them. Musk not that long ago, a couple of weeks ago, gave a stern lecture of how Rivian and Lucid should take care of expenses.... He trolled GM for having to go though bankruptcy.... He twitted a couple of days ago that his 2 new factories are losing money... LOTS of money. BILLIONS of money lost... He also forgets that Tesla would have been dismantled a decade ago, just like how his then rival Fisker was had it NOT been for government subsidies to keep Tesla afloat all these years. He also forgets that he continues to GET government subsidies for Tesla to keep on STAYING afloat. If all ties are cut RIGHT NOW, Tesla folds RIGHT NOW.... Also...Space X, that loop thing and most probably this vaccine thing are ALL financed partially BY tax payer money. Its not so much how many projects he takes on. Its more about how piss poor his actual leadership is, how piss poor his decisions are, how piss poor his problem solving is and how piss poor his decisions to tweet about nonsense and bullshyte and how he revises history.... He IS great in telling fairy tales though... He gets politicians to throw public money at him because of it. Ill give him that!!!
  11. Pretty impressive skyline. ALMOST makes me proud... as how I feel like a Montrealer tho... r
  12. sure... I never suggested otherwise just because I didnt mention FWD appliance vehicles in my rant there. But with CUVs though, the appliance, meh factor is accentuated 10 fold..
  13. And I too, understand where you are coming from. About the Flex: 1. NOT a CUV. More like a station wagon. On the D4 platform. Sure, the Explorer is based off of this platform, but so is the Taurus. The important thing about that is that the Flex is low to the ground. Im will to bet that the Flex and Taurus have the same ground clearance. While the Taurus drives like an old man's car, the Flex does not. Ive driven all three (Flex, Taurus, Explorer) when my Fusion was under all these recalls. The dealership was giving me these as loaners. The Fusion had over 10 recalls.... Anyway. The Explorer, with its higher ground clearance, tires not meant for spirited driving coupled that with suspension tuning geared for low common denominator zombie sheeple with no aspirations of having ANY kind of fun...wallowing around. Vomit inducing ride....like I was on a freakin boat on the high seas... The Taurus had almost the same feel, but at least the Taurus was lower to the ground minimizing the wallow-ey suspension travel. I could live with that moreso than I ever could with the Explorer. The Flex, had a more conventional car ride. It does not wallow at all. But the Flex was not marketed to people that are devoid of having any kind of fun in their lives. It looked different because it WAS different from all those other boring suburban appliances we call CUVs. It didnt drive like its only mission in life was to haul little Johnny to baseball practice while watching the game through their smart phone's camera lense while texting and sending pics to friends how little Johnny caught a fly ball...
  14. To be honest, it is a CUV and ALL CUVs are bottom feeders. Appliance compliance vehicles for the sheeple masses driving along like zombies to their pathetic jobs, to their pathetic shopping and eating habits of shopping centers, retail outlets and fast food drive and shyytty coffee joint drive- thrus. Hauling their spoiled bratty offspring to their weekly sporting events where everyone is a winner... CUVs being bought and sold to the lowest common denominator consumer no matter what social and/or economical class one belongs to. To me, these people have given up in living life as there is NOTHING appealing to owning ANY of them. Chevy, Ford, Tesla, Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Volvo, VW, Porsche, etc... It dont matter, ALL CUVs are bottom feeding shyttyy vehicles to own and drive.
  15. When I dont care for things, and there are many things I dont care much for, and Ive also reached an age where I dont even care for not even caring, this is the kind of dance I do physically and mentally whenever I am not caring. (minus the smoking part but I especially like the smoking part even though I dont much care for smoking!!!)
  16. I dont much care for... indifference
  17. @ccap41 https://ca.finance.yahoo.com/news/elon-musk-sued-258-billion-190433065.html Elon Musk was sued for $258 billion on Thursday by a Dogecoin investor who accused him of running a pyramid scheme to support the cryptocurrency. In a complaint filed in federal court in Manhattan, plaintiff Keith Johnson accused Musk, electric car company Tesla Inc and space tourism company SpaceX of racketeering for touting Dogecoin and driving up its price, only to then let the price tumble. Musk is CEO of both Tesla and SpaceX. "Defendants were aware since 2019 that Dogecoin had no value yet promoted Dogecoin to profit from its trading," the complaint said. "Musk used his pedestal as World's Richest man to operate and manipulate the Dogecoin Pyramid Scheme for profit, exposure and amusement." The complaint also aggregates comments from Warren Buffett, Bill Gates and others questioning the value of cryptocurrency. https://ca.news.yahoo.com/news/spacex-employees-denounce-ceo-musk-170623252.html A group of SpaceX employees derided flamboyant billionaire Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk as a "distraction and embarrassment" in an internal letter to executives. Musk, also head of electric automaker Tesla Inc, has been in headlines and late-night comedy monologues in recent months for a tumultuous quest to buy social media giant Twitter, a reported allegation of sexual harassment that Musk has denied as well as crude comments online and a foray into political discourse. "Elon's behavior in the public sphere is a frequent source of distraction and embarrassment for us, particularly in recent weeks," read the letter, which does not single out any controversy in particular. Reuters was provided a copy of the letter. "As our CEO and most prominent spokesperson, Elon is seen as the face of SpaceX - every tweet that Elon sends is a de facto public statement by the company." https://ca.news.yahoo.com/spacex-fired-employees-behind-letter-092313006.html SpaceX has fired employees who circulated a draft for an open letter, which said CEO Elon Musk's behavior in public is "a frequent source of distraction and embarrassment," according to a New York Times report. Three SpaceX employees told The Times that the company fired some of the organizers behind the letter on Thursday afternoon. The Times also reviewed an internal email from SpaceX COO Gwynne Shotwell, which confirmed the company had "terminated a number of employees involved." In the email to employees, Shotwell called the letter "overreaching activism" and said the distribution had "made employees feel uncomfortable, intimidated and bullied, and/or angry because the letter pressured them to sign onto something that did not reflect their views," per The Times. The Times reported that it wasn't clear how many employees had been fired. Two sources told Reuters SpaceX had fired at least five employees over the letter. @ccap41 You are 100% correct. All these distractions could not possibly BE a distraction to Tesla as if he is NOT a micro managing idiotic boss. I kinda felt bad for a second when @surreal1272 mentioned Elon was on the spectrum. I had forgotten that Elon mentioned that himself. Bu then I came back to my senses for not giving a shyte whether he is on the spectrum or not, because he mentioned that on his opening monologue on SNL. Not exactly a podium for me to be empathetic to his situation regarding Tesla and him BEING on the spectrum. He is quite aware of his actions...DESPITE him being on the spectrum. He CRAVES being in the limelight. The other CEOs in the other companies you mentioned dont behave like Musk does... John Z DeLorean was said that he also behaved more like a celebrity rather than a Pontiac or Chevy boss. Eventually landing him, rightfully or wrongfully, in trouble with the law. Elon has been sued quite a few times already... whether or not he has escaped being liable, if this trend continues, eventually one lawsuit WILL stick and the way he runs things, as a micro manager, it wont bode well for ANY of his companies. He is lucky that investors keep on dishing out billions to him for Tesla... Him running his mouth off towards Rivian and Lucid make him look like a fool... https://insideevs.com/news/592252/elon-musk-says-lucid-rivian-are-tracking-toward-bankruptcy/ But you continue doing you, being ALWAYS against the grain pretending you are a righteous internet poster...
  18. While true, that big folk have to try out to see if they actually could fit inside the vehicle they intend to drive, little folk like myself also needs to do this. Although its more likely that little people like myself will probably be comfortable more often than not as opposed to big folk like yourself, small folk like myself ALSO have our OWN challenges. If, for instance, even if the seats go forward, how comfy is the driving position going to be in relation to our butts in the seat, our hands on the steering wheel, our feet to the pedal and our overall eyesight looking out the windshield and the speedometer. Cars are usually made for the AVERAGE height. YOU are WAAAAAAAY taller than average height and Im a tad shorter than average height. I will admit that my plight will be less severe than yours. But that doesnt mean I dont have a plight myself... Just curious though, If dealerships go away, and buying cars happen ONLY online, how to you figure you are gonna test fit your vehicle purchases?
