The M8 is a pretty dang good looking car, too, though. Cadillac doesn't have a full size coupe like this Genesis or the M8. They don't even make the CT4-V Blackwing Coupe.

Hot Daaaamn! These look beautiful. We can only hope they actually build these. We all know the take rate would be insanely low, but I feel like it would be great for the brand's image and hopefully sell other models.

That sounds like such an expensive trailer configuration, a trailer with massive batteries and motor(s).. That is no better than an HD with their diesel setups now. While the idea seems good, the price of something like that just sounds like looking for a problem to solve instead of the current setup. At this point, we'd be talking about a 10,000lb truck and an empty trailer weighing 7,000lbs. That's pushing the better part of 20,000lb before even adding anything to the trailer. A basic single car trailer is already close to 2500lb.

That seems to be the beverage of choice for those people who think they're drinking "healthy" but are always out of shape and overweight. I'm sure you know a person or two who's only drink they'll consume is Diet Coke. It's such a terrible beverage, too.

Yeah, and as you kind of circled back in your own comment, 600 miles of range just isn't needed. People aren't driving that far without a bathroom, food, or stretching their legs break anyway. 600 miles at 70mph is 8.5 hours of straight driving. Just make the batteries smaller and lighter(therefore more efficient) and 400 miles is plenty for 99% of the population 99% of the time. When that 400 miles is recouped in under 10 minutes, everybody will be happy. It's just wasteful to make a 600 mile range battery for a vehicle.

I know there aren't any details on the range or capacity of the other battery packs, but this REALLY intrigues me. I'm sure the standard range would be less than I'd like, but 440mi seems excessive so the middle battery would likely be perfect.

Even people who like to road trip spend the majority of their time not road tripping. There's really no point in a 600 mile range EV unless batteries become SOOOOOO much lighter where 100kw batteries only weights a few more pounds than a 75kw battery and there's really no "extra weight" to be carried around, wasting efficiency.

Yeah, the class just isn't what it used to be. I used to LOVE a giant sedan. While they do all still have that large car presence on the road, I just can't get over the overly touchscreen and electronic interiors. They just don't so what they used to for me. There's an A8L in our parking garage that is still pretty awesome. It isn't brand new, probably the previous gen..?maybe..? I think I just liked all of them more in their previous generations. This was my first thought on the topic, as well. I know I don't know about our infrastructure like you do, but I know 1000kWh charging isn't something that'll be done here anytime soon anyway. It's awesome that it has the ability to do that, but there won't be anywhere that this can take place anyway so it's kind of a moot point.

I love me a long wheelbase large sedan. They just have a really cool presence when walking around them. I disagree with it being lazy. There are a lot of people who actually want an all black interior. I'm not one of them, but I know people who do. I'd agree if it was the ONLY choice available, but as long as there are multiple choices, making an all black one doesn't come off as lazy to me. This is a specific Black Edition, so it also seems to make sense here.

Talking, in general, about politics is not taboo. Talking politics where politics are not wanting to be talked about, is taboo. Nobody is going to specific group pages (Corvette, Mustang, Dallas Cowboys, Montreal Canadians, Dale Earnhardt Jr) groups and wanting to talk politics. Go to political pages that are dedicated to talking that stuff. There are sooooo many pages/sites available if you want to talk politics. Talk politics with people who want to talk politics. That seems fair, right? Personally, I don't want to be talking about the new Silverado EV's multiple trims and battery sizes and have somebody cram some political garbage into the comment section.

Yeah, there really just isn't a need for that kind of infrastructure somewhere where the vehicle is going to be parked for 20 minutes minimum regardless. Next to a highway where people aren't trying to waste any time? Perfect.

I'm not finding the same information you're telling me. Model Y starts "around" 46k. GV60 does start at $52,350. If you're talking only about the Launch Series, which we all know there will be more trims available once the old inventory is moved, that starts at 60k, that's quite misleading. We all know it will be priced similarly to the previous gen Model Y. It'll likely be priced a little higher, everything seems to do that, but it won't be 15k more than the previous gen Model Y. Realistically, a Model Y will still be cheaper than an RX350 or X3 that start at 50k.

Do we know what percentage of other EV brand buyers are using them? I mean, if 20% of each brand are using them, that's a lot of vehicles using them. Also, is this 20% a percentage of every Ford owner? Like, 60% only charge from home. 40% use public charging regularly. Does that mean that 50% of people who use public chargers regularly are using Tesla Superchargers? See how numbers can be manipulated or made confusing... Doesn't Tesla charge more per Kw than most of the other big brands? Or am I wrong there?

How often are you not charging at home that you need to charge publicly? I'd think that thing has more than enough range to only need to charge at home. It's still a good thing though. That 20% aren't clogging your other charging stations and, I would think, it would keep everybody happier with more chargers available.

So is an Ionic5 and EV6, but nobody is mistaking those for luxury. Technically, an Ionic5 is a couple hundred dollars more than a Model 3.

Well yeah, that's Tesla. I thought it was well-known Tesla isn't exactly a luxury car maker. I was more speaking of Mercs, BMWs, Audis, and Genesis.

20% increase over what? That's a debatable selling point. I'm pretty sure all of their new turbo engines have had some major issues. I have my doubts its much, if any, quieter than any other luxury EV. Why is this worded like this? Wouldn't it just be 221HP / 198lb-ft of torque?

This comment instantly made me think of the Toyota Crown and how weird/interesting it is. I've walked around a couple of them and they're so quirky-shaped/sized. It really is a car that's lifted about an inch. Have you gotten to dive one? Are they worth a damn?

Yeah, I guess if the hood is the smaller of the sizes and you add in the space behind the seats, you'll have 5' worth of space there.

There is no way that's a 5ft bed AND it's the size of a Mini Cooper. Those dimension numbers and pictures just aren't making sense to me. It's either the size of a Mini or it's a small truck. if it really is the size of a Mini AND has a 5ft bed, that cabin has to be incredibly cramped for 2-rows. The hood of a Mini isn't 5ft, right? I know there doesn't need to be a hood for an engine but having exposed wheels seems a little awkward. the idea of thig thing seems really cool, but I'd never consider something like this.
