Tariff Tuesday - Sports Cars are Dead
Absolutely. No real loss there though.. I feel like that's more of a Chrysler continuing to bring mediocre products to the table at prices similar to their competition issue. Haven't Stellantis' brands all done crap this year?

Tariff Tuesday - Sports Cars are Dead
"affordable" sports cars were dead like 5-10 years ago. Once Camaro SSs and Mustang GTs couldn't be found for under 40k, Miatas crested 25k, BRZs surpassed 30k. A BRZ is already nearly 8k more than it was when it first came out.

I can't imagine them moving 90k units in the US. That's roughly Chevy Colorado numbers.

I actually saw an old Gladiator just this week. It was NOT rust free nor clean though.

For the most common places, I hate it and would go elsewhere. For places that I know will be very pricey and things are typically "market price", I expect it.

It's a GM car made with Chinese parts, those parts are probably already broken and ready to fall off. 🤣 I joke I joke What portion is it supposed to be in?

Where can this be found? I have my window sticker but I don't see a breakdown on it. Also, what about the other 14%? Lincoln Navigator Window Sticker.pdf- Random Thoughts Thread
Of all industries to kill, the auto industry isn't one of them. There are only a handful of autos built in China, right? Nautilus, Envision, and probably something else.- 2025 Toyota Camry LE Hybrid Review - All-Hybrid, All-CVT, Real-World 45-51 MPG Tested, and What You Give Up for Fuel Economy
I believe the orange pieces are indications of high voltage cables, so beware of them. Haha- Random Thoughts Thread
It wasn't coming to the US prior to Trump even being in office, let alone any tariff talk. https://electrek.co/2025/01/31/kia-ev5-sadly-not-coming-to-us-but-will-arrive-next-door/- Item: 1999 BMW R1100RS
Oh man. It happens to the best of us. We always try and work with what we have because we just don't want to make the trip out when you're in the middle of something. Well, glad you got it back together! Also, 109k miles on that thing?!? That sounds insane for most bikes. I'm sure there are cruisers out there with 100-200k miles on them, but it just sounds like so much for a bike.- Random Thoughts Thread
Don't Ford and GM already have factories in those countries, partially, for that reason though? We both know Ford and GM have factories in China already. I'm sure almost all of those vehicles stay domestic to China, and they'd be avoiding and tariff situation. I can't imagine China is importing any Ford or GM vehicle that's built in the US. I think anybody with a REAL brain knew there would be a big spike up front followed by no real truck buyers wanting one of those things. Putting the hatred for Elon aside, they're just not good enough TRUCKS. No truck buyer wants something like that.- Genesis News: Genesis Reveals Gran Coupe and Gran Convertible Concepts at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show
There's actually an M8 coupe and M8 Gran Coupe in our parking garage at work. The coupe looks much better, imo.- Random Thoughts Thread
