Just a guess but I think it has to do with the overall flow of the color scheme. with white seats in the middle as opposed to on an "end" of the vehicle with the dash incorporated in it seems to flow more. Otherwise it would be dark in back, white in middle, and dark up front again. that seems more awkward to me. Other than that, your assessment does make more sense based on wear and where people will be most. Hahaha I completely missed the whole two-door part, too! Wow, screw this vehicle.

Makes sense. It's real small in comparison. I think Cadillac is the only luxury auto maker there. Okay, not true. Lincoln, Acura and Infiniti have been there.

*cough* St. Louis! *cough* Ours is shet though.. VW is the only european make and they rarely have much super cool stuff. I really hope they have the new Ram and Silverado though.

It's leather, not cloth. You wipe it off like you would black, brown, or tan. It's because they open up and there's gadgets in there. Nobody in their right mind WANTS to sit three deep back there to begin with. This gives you compartments, cup holders, charging ports, etc. " Two individual fully adjustable seats are complemented by an extended and re-designed centre console with electrically deployable walnut tables, integrated USB charging sockets, enhanced stowage and bespoke lighting." That is what's going on back there for their Holland & Holland Range Rover that looks very similar. Lost a seat nobody would use and gained actual bucket seats and much more.

I agree but I just don't see it financially making sense. I think maybe a real single cab short bed configuration of the mid sizers might be a better solution for the manufacturers. It will keep it small, capable, and they won't be trying to add a whole new vehicle for certifications and shipping and all that jazz of something completely different which may make it financially viable.
