  1. That's two performance metrics. Like i said, across all of the tests. acceleration, braking, cornering, slalom, etc. Hey look, your quote is about exactly what I said. It depends which one the buyer thinks looks the best. Sorry, isn't** It is a wash.
  2. Another SUV coupe? Hard pass. They all look like ass.
  3. The ATS is behind the C and 3/4 Series in performance as well. Even V Series. It's great but it doesn't dominate anything. It's basically a wash between which car the buyer thinks looks the best because the numbers are all too close and mixed with no clear "this car does everything the best". https://www.caranddriver.com/comparisons/2015-bmw-m3-vs-2015-mercedes-amg-c63-s-2016-cadillac-ats-v-comparison-test-2015-bmw-m3-vs-2015-mercedes-amg-c63-s-2016-cadillac-ats-v-final-scoring-performance-data-and-complete-specs-page-5
  4. I was just looking at that myself, SAE J1100. http://standards.sae.org/j1100_200911/
  5. It's a 3rd party test... There is no way BMW would release numbers of max head room with the seat higher than its lowest point. Same with all of the other measurements. What benefit would there be to that? Lie about their interior dimensions?
  6. No-Brainer. GMC. It's a good looking truck AND the Ram is a bad looking truck, so far.
  7. I wouldn't expect you to have agreed. Nothing fits you unless it's what you like. Everything else just so happens to be itty bitty and cramped. Yet you fit into an ATS... The drivers' seats are basically a wash, dimensionally. The rear seats is the only place there is sigificant differences. Oh and the headroom in the BMW is 3 inches more than the ATS/C63. From left to right: Giulia, M3, ATS-V, C63
  8. Sounds like they just don't know how to use the interior space that's available. The 3 Series and MB don't have the small car feel to them like the ATS does. Whatever it is, the ATS feels smaller.
  9. SEL for under 32k sounds pretty reasonable actually.
  10. They've kept the G Wagen around for a lot longer than that and they're actually very similar vehicles in their overall goal and what they do.
  11. The nose on the G looks a little funky. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Other than that, it does look identical. As it should.
  12. I thought you liked cars..? Do you not want to enjoy driving ever again?
  13. I know.. lol
  14. Oh my car looks bad right now.. Salt and crud on the roads. I was going to run through the wash the other day but with it being so cold...1: I wasn't sure if the auto washes were open and 2: It would have bugged me having the frozen water = water spots immediately after cleaning aaaaand 3: there's still so much salt on the roads.. I should just do it anyway.
  15. You know it cuts deep when you get a response 2 hours after a comment but then another 2 hours pass before you get a downvote for the same comment.
  16. Yeah with the super ultra mega quad cabs they have now, I completely agree. Not to say "none" will switch but I think it's a wash between switching to and from trucks. In general, a pickup owner is a pickup owner. Well, it was buried almost two whole paragraphs deep. lol I don't see them cutting any corners with the new one. I don't know why they would. They did ditch the front live axle though for an independent setup.
  17. I gotcha I gotcha
  18. I completely agree with the last line but the rest doesn't make any sense to me. Just because somebody wrote a lot doesn't mean they're right or should be agreed with. Look at Old's posts. He spends 30 minutes per post, easily, but that doesn't mean he "deserves" better treatment. That's like you whining when getting a "down-vote".
  19. EGGS-ACT-LEE!
  20. What's wrong with that? Isn't that kind of what it is for? I don't see him trying to muzzle everybody, just you.
  21. I hope so too but it has a long way to go to catch 32k sales.
