  1. Does anybody think they will ever throw in a twin turbo(EcoBoost) V6 in as a middle engine? Or even as a top engine? I'd love to see the 2.7 as a middle engine. 350hp/380tq or so. Still leaves a wide margin for the 5.0.
  2. So there was thousands of square feet not occupied by anything? I didn't go this year but I've never gone when there was empty space that could just fit 10 more manufacturers. Not at all.
  3. They've never made the trip to STL from what I can remember. I like going but the STL show really is kind of a joke.. It's nice if you're the average Joe looking to car shop because you can sit in everything the average buyer will look at all under one roof but that's about it.. Last year there wasn't a GT350 but there was an RS.. That's how the STL auto show works. There also just isn't all that much room for more brands even if they wanted to attend.
  4. Sedan: CLS Coupe/Vert: AMG GT Wagon: CTS-V Wagon SUV/CUV: Wrangler because functionality is awesome to me aaaand XC90 because it actually looks really good to me. Truck: Raptor.. even though it is obnoxious I think it looks gnarly and in your face. Wildcard: X-Wing, I always thought these were so cool as a kid and Old's F18 got me thinking extra hard.
  5. Damn, I'm sorry bud.. That's a rough start to the year, that's for sure. Good to hear she is doing better!
  6. Fender flares and hood just aren't doing it for me.
  7. What are these fees over a non-EV vehicle though? Like that Indiana one is only 30-40 more than the fees for everybody else. Your wording makes it sound like they're all paying $150 more for their EV(Indiana example).
  8. Yeah that spoiler looks so bad to me. It just doesn't seem to flow with the rest of the car.
  9. This sounds like it a problem with your company more so than with every company. If it's that bad, why haven't you looked elsewhere? It sounds like you have the credentials to move on. I know there are a ton of places for me to advance at the company that I'm at now. They're helping pay for school as I finish and countless departments I could transfer to if I didn't like my managers directly above me and move up from there if I so choose to(which, why not?)
  10. Well, I'm weird and enjoy changing my oil but I know what you mean!
  11. Ahhhh cartridge filters suuuuck.
  12. That's what I assumed you meant by tax per mile. Somebody literally looking at your odometer. T This will lead to people finding ways to stop an odometer from working or screwing with the numbers though.. but there are always people who will try and beat the system.
  13. My Beretta(3.1) actually has the head gasket go about 2 years ago.. then transmission issues.. then traded it in after it became a money pit.
  14. Or assume the work he did there didn't pay for it along with his academic and athletic scholarships in which you have to work your ass off for. If he was born in America he would have expected handouts and bitched when he didn't get them.
  15. This 2016 Yaris I'm rocking now as a rental is pretty shetty and kickass at the same time. If it just had a modern engine and trans it would actually be a very good little car..but it doesn't.
  16. You honestly think companies will be just willing to accept less income, less profits, therefore lower stock prices? You'd be okay with stock prices falling due to lower income? Just to the laziest of people can get a break. Only the laziest are willing to accept a minimum wage position without any initiative to move up the ladder. The GF's das did this. He moved from India after earning a couple bachelor degrees while working on a farm and came over with $200. He built his own jewelry business by learning everything on his own and they do very well for themselves. He worked his ass off for everything he has.
  17. How many splits, acquisitions, or other corporate actions have happened since then for those companies?
  18. Other than the shet spoiler it looks so similar I have no issue with it. It looks just fine.
  19. That's so relative though.. because people don't NEED a lot of the shet they buy and pay for and then complain about not making enough money for food, car, housing. I also don't think minimum wage should be a wage in which people are content with. By keeping it lower than it "should" be it should make people want to better themselves and be better employees looking for promotions. Also, if you bump minimum wage up all the big corporations will do is increase prices and then that new minimum will be back at the same spot. McDonald's will increase prices, Walmart will increase prices then things will still be unaffordable for those people.
  20. That was my thought as well. Unless it was 100% paid in cash to the point they are getting their money NOW but either way they'd be getting a check from the finance company for the full price. Either way.. what is your opinion on what I should ask for and pay for that?
  21. I actually dig the wheels. I've always liked that "style". While it's an OEM and nothing special I like this design over their "snowflake" designs. I actually don't like light interiors but because this is just the seats I think it looks awesome. And they're leather so they can't be that tough to keep clean, right? Bummer the PDK was a let down but I would think that car would be amazing with their 7spd manual. It just seems like the "right" thing for such a sporty car. Oh, did you get any ice that way yesterday?? Way over in IL it was just wet all night..
  22. What do you think I should offer? Put into consideration I'll be putting about 11k down on it.
  23. What's a fair wage to you? also, there is only one position in walmart(unless it's changed in the 2 years I've been gone) that pays minimum and that's the cart pushers.
  24. Couldn't eliminating free shet for people who aren't deserving potentially pay for said road work?
  25. That does need to get cleaned up next. It seems like all too many of them are puffing black smoke under acceleration. seems relatively simple to make a standard across the board,
