  1. Holy $h!. I'm not tall but I wouldn't want anything lower than the ATS' 36.8. Thanks
  2. ATS is not "too small"- as you point out, it's within an inch of the c-class. MB made the cut-rate & cut-priced CLA too large- it's only 2 inches shorter than the c-class, but the rear seat in uninhabitable. Should have only been a coupe. Its a foregone conclusion that it should have been a coupe.. or rather a four-door coupe like the vehicle tried to emulate, the CLS. Try getting in to the rear of the CLA or CLS.. and I guarantee U get out wit a f@#ked up neck.. In all fairness, I'm only 5'8" and when I sat in the back of an ATS my head was within an inch of the roof(which has a cut out for head space). My back seat space issue with the ATS wasn't knee/leg room(probably because of the 5'8"-ness) it was actually head room. For me, it was "okay", but I know I'm on the shorter/average end of the spectrum and not all of my friends and family that would possibly ride in the back are the same or shorter. In all fairness I was talking about the CLA.. AND the CLS.. the larger vehicle too. Again.. I could care less how the ride if for passengers outside of my kids.. but if someone is gonna use rear seat room as a demerit for CAddy.. they damn sure better be ready for it to be used against their POS favorite Kraut brand Oh I agree. For sure, and I'm somewhat in the same boat, something like that wouldn't stop me from buying the car that is better everywhere else. Or at least where I want it to be better. Is the back of a CLS really that low also? That sucks because I really like the CLS.

  4. I would appreciate a video for this post.
  5. Just realized I've been driving on expired plates for a month. $h!.
  6. This might seem like a stupid question and I apologize for it not being in the right thread but why do they even make a middle seat in the back of cars like the CTS-V or CTS/5 Series, E Class, A6? Is that an actual usable seat? I mean I know a teen and younger CAN fit there but even sitting "bitch" in a large Yukon or Traverse sucks and I assume those are at least a little wider than those sporty sedans, right? They should just make the rear seats a little more bucket-like and maybe some form of permanent console-like thing in the middle. Even if it is just a solid arm rest of something I think that would be more useful and look better than a pull-down arm rest that they probably have now. Just an idea/curious.
  7. I understand WHY they would go the class action route but as long as GM knows and is working on a plan I don't understand that. Now... May GM have decided to start throwing a compensation plan after this individual decided to sue or did they decide to sue after GM announced they were working on a compensation plan? Regardless, I'm glad GM is taking care of their customers like they should be.
  8. Hahaha Yeah I thought it was a pretty cool idea and knew others worked out as well(mostly you).
  9. Little bump for the top of the next page!
  10. Hey for those of you who do weight lift out there( mostly looking at you dfelt! ) I came across this website who sells wrist wraps and depending on the color/name they donate 20% to the given charity(and the give you a free shirt and shipping). A few of the charities I remember off the top of my head are; Boys and Girls Club of America, Defenders of Wildlife, and E-Nable(make and give free prosthetic limbs to those who cannot afford their own). There are three or 4 more and they give a little description of the charity as well. It's a really cool idea. The wraps are a little pricey but free shipping, shirt, wraps and 20% goes to a charity..seems like a reasonable price to me. I lift every day with wrist wraps on and I plan to order a pair of these in the next week or two. I'm just not sure which charity I'd like to help out. You guys should check them out: https://manimalstrong.com/collections/wrist-wraps Oh yeah, and they have a gnarly logo! Here are a couple of the ones they have.
  11. My desktop at work is still saying the server is down (moving to a new server)but the site works from my phone. Just a heads up incase this isn't isolated. Refresh your DNS or reboot. All that is showing is that your DNS servers haven't received the updated location of the website yet. Thank you! It took awhile as I didn't want to save and reopen everything I had but I did this morning. Thanks ya!

  13. I noticed the same thing but this is going to happen after several weeks of very intense discussions across multiple threads. There is always the "letdown" period before it seems to start back up again. It also happens when the repeating trolls get set aside for their actions. That does tend to pare the posts down because no one has to deal with the trolling BS afterwards until it all starts anew on the next "My Ford is better than your Chevy" (and vice versa obviously) or "Cadillac sucks because they can't blah blah blah" thread. The other factor is that those kind of threads can get a little tiring to see the EXACT same "arguments" made time and time again. Yeah I have noticed most of exactly what you described as well.. it just doesn't usually get quite this dead. But then again when searching the magazines' websites there wasn't much good there either to talk about anyway.
  14. There is just something about how Kia does their grilles that just look so cheap and crappy to me. I think Kia and Hyundai need complete refreshes on their noses because neither make junk anymore. They both make respectable automobiles and with similar language as when they made crap it still gives off a bad vibe...well to me at least..
  15. Super dead the last 24hrs..
  16. I noticed that 7200+ pounds as well. That's freakin heavy. What are the HDs for the D3 weighing around? I also don't think it is a bad looking truck in person. It's actually pretty good looking in person. Pictures definitely don't do it justice.
  17. That crap is bad news. LNG powered ships are being proposed to make marine propulsion more environmentally friendly. http://fortune.com/2015/07/23/natural-gas-fueled-shipping/ I guess I'm missing something? Why is it bad news? If LNG is cleaner I would think that's a good thing. You also forgot a pretty importance piece of the above paragraph, "the ships are expected to produce 98 percent less sulfur oxides, 71 percent fewer nitric oxides, 71 percent less carbon dioxide, and a jaw-dropping 99 percent reduction in particulate emissions, all while increasing the vessels' fuel efficiency compared to conventional diesel engines."
  18. I read this last week and I thought the IDEA is freakin great! I know it would be difficult to get up and running but if they would work a deal with a major company running very similar routes and build a refueling infrastructure around that I think that would be a great start. Plus, 1200 miles of range? It isn't like the refueling stations need to be too close together. I you could eliminate/cut down the pollution of even 1 out of 100 semis on the road I would have to believe that is a pretty decent amount of crap kept out of the air in a year's time.
  19. Dfelt nailed it with the plum interior!!! I freakin love that color, especially for leather.
  20. Depends. My magic can be a little "erratic". Lol well.. I have a picture of my friend who just bought a V6 Camaro(I know.. I know.. ugh..the guy who used to have an HHR SS and 1997 Z/28 Anniversary Edition. Onl upside the the Camaro is that it's a 6spd. Oh yeah, it's a 2011) but I wanted to Photoshop a mullet on him and then add a picture of the car in the background or wherever really.
  21. If I didn't go with an F-Pace I would be in probably the same thing as you, Frisky. Same matte bronze accents probably a darker grey if they offer one though but I REALLY like the Grand Cherokee and I have for awhile. Buuuuuut... If this is a fantasty world and I don't have to take it in for repairs weekly because it is a Jag... I'd go with an F-Pace, 3.0 Supercharged, 340hp/332tq. It would have to be Jaguar Green(as I call it) accented in black. They offer a "black accent package" that put me over by like $200 bucks but I can paint the chrome in the grill and side vents myself at a later date. And what it will look like once the grill surround and side vents get painted:
  22. ^ That looks really really good.. but that wing is just a little much. Tone the wing down a bit and that's a near perfect Fox. Simple, clean, yep.
  23. Do we have any Photoshop wizards here?
  24. http://www.automobilemag.com/news/porsche-pdk-shifts-slower-2017-chevrolet-camaro-zl1-automatic/ "When the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 hits showrooms later this year, it’ll be the automaker’s first car to get the new ten-speed automatic, a transmission Chevy claims is so dialed in that it shifts faster than Porsche’s outstanding PDK dual-clutch gearbox. Chevy previously claimed its new ten-speed was a quick shifter during our ride-along in a Camaro ZL1 prototype earlier this year. Now Chevy has numbers to back it up. Based on Chevy’s own testing, the 2017 Camaro ZL1’s automatic shifts from 1st to 2nd gear 36 percent quicker than the Porsche PDK. The automaker claims the 2-3 upshift is 27 percent quicker, while the shift from 3rd to 4th is 26 percent quicker. Those differences may very well be imperceptible from behind the wheel, but every millisecond counts when you’re launching off the line. ... " Read the rest at the above link.
  25. DUDE! That was the first thing that I thought of too! Release a story to make their stock plummet and then buy it up when it's dirt cheap. No. This morning at a press conference, Mitsubishi Motors chairman Osamu Masuko said a takeover was going to happen sooner or later. Plus, Mitsubishi already had a connection with Nissan concerning kei cars in Japan and they were in talks about extending this partnership. Whether they intended to sell or not is not my issue. I understand that completely. However, hat doesn't mean that Nissan wasn't looking to get a better deal. Letting the fuel controversy slip out prior to the buyout seems to lend some credence to it but maybe I'm just wearing my tinfoil hat a little too tight in regards to this. +111111111 I just got fitted for a new tinfoil hat this week so I know mine is fitting perfect but I just can't seem to take it off..
