  1. That would be interesting to know, especially since they killed the SRT for the US and they still get it. I wondering if they are banking on the death of Ford and Holden RWD models to boost sales there?
  2. It was supposed to be coming based on the Alfa platform, but I think like the upcoming Chrysler crossovers, it will be based on a highly updated version of the Cherokee platform.
  3. What I thought too, but apparently 2 new crossovers are in developement and should be out in a couple years wearing the Chrysler badge.
  4. Actually RHD is not completely dead. https://www.allpar.com/news/2017/10/right-hand-drive-not-quite-dead-yet-38637
  5. These were never popular or big sellers in right hand drive countries, so not surprised.
  6. I am kind of hoping it is what he goes for. C&D just tested an 18 at 0-60 in 3.5 and 1/4 in 11.9! crazy little cars even stock. They used to have an AWD/VR6 CC that was pretty sweet.
  7. Any chance they will offer AWD on it since it will be on MQB? AWD and the 2.0T would really get my attention.
  8. I don't think it will be a problem at all. People have been clamoring for it and all indications and everything from FCA shows it coming. mazda was always iffy with bringing diesels here.
  9. I am guessing 268 HP and higher torque and tuned for the torque to hit early and hard. Jeep understands their audience. The Pentastar was redone in 16 in the GC and Durango and provides a much better torque curve and is much torquier lower in the rev range. Of course the ecodiesel will be the torque monster, but am sure the other engines will work just fine off road.
  10. It is already verified for the Wrangler and Scrambler. No.....
  11. I 100% agree, 268 HP, but tuned for high torque low in the RPM range.
  12. 18s are already out and i just like to mess with SMK. I like the G Wagen or however they spell it, but Surreal is right in his original point. On the Cherokee, 18s are already out like with most vehicles. This is true. My 04 Dakota has been great. Been replacing a few front end parts, but it spends a lot of time in the rough and has basically 200k miles on it. Of course the 01 has been great too, just ready for an engine transplant thanks to water, but has been very solid.
  13. That does look nice. they have done enough to keep it fresh. Love the kona, very sharp little Ute.
  14. 17 F-150s have discounts around here of up to 17k, but I would MUCH rather have an 18 RC with the FX4 package and the 5.0/10 speed.
  15. To add what i said to Dodge, Buick is doing a changeover for their biggest and best selling CUV and the loss of the Verano is going to be big because it was easily their best selling car.
  16. Dodge is down simply because of the loss of the Dart and mostly because they are phasing out the Grand Caravan production. Chrysler is down simply because of the loss of the 200. Jeep is down mainly because o the loss of the Patriot. You do actually realize these things, right?
  17. 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 18 is it's 5th model year. Agreed. And why spend 40k on a Wrangler Unlimited with all the off-rroad ability of the overpriced Benz plus it is a convertible, and the new 18 should have no problem matching it on most features.
  18. The charger is still a fantastic car as is the Challenger. They sell well because they have room, features, and drive great. Glad the excised the rest of the old benz platform for 15. Cherokee needs a major upgrade. Compass actually has MORE interior room and the Trailhawk has better approach and departure angles. I just wish the Compass either got the cherokee's v6 or will get the new turbo 4.
  19. It is interesting. It will of course have a lot more cooling required. the fact they are testing on widebody wheels, really has my attention.
