  1. That may be the case but the volume from Ford alone makes my case when bringing up Hyundai/Kia ICE reliability versus their competition.
  2. Perhaps you should look up the Bronco recalls regarding the engine(s) alone. Things like cracked fuel injectors are a little more than standard recall stuff. Those engines have had major teething issues from the jump and it hasn't stopped. My point here is that Hyundai/Kia will do just fine if we are going to bring up things like reliability with the competition.
  3. The Bronco has had more recalls than buyers lol. (I embellish but you get the point)
  4. The fact that it is a patch job is my point. This van is hitting the decade mark without any major changes hence my opinion that Stellantis doesn't care. That "platform" should have dropped a few years ago but again, Stellantis.
  5. (Looks at the Wrangler and Bronco reliability history and chuckles). Hyundai/Kia should be fine with whatever ICE option that they put in this when looking at the competition.
  6. More like a bad Korean style nose job. If the rest of the van had been redesigned with this in mind, that might be one thing but this just looks beyond tacked on. Stellantis simply does not care about Chrysler.
  7. Meanwhile, the U.S continues to get boring Buick CUVs with underpowered 3 bangers.
  8. I'll stick with my 2018 since the only really difference between it and this one is the nose and that new nose is one only a near sighted mother could love.
  9. The Grand Highlander was the volume seller of the two, which is why it continues as is (and will for the foreseeable future( while giving the smaller Highlander a fresh start as an EV. That way, it most likely doesn't poach sales from the Grand Highlander while officially getting some skin in the EV game, especially since the batteries are being produced about 20 miles from my house.
  10. Looks like it's time for another bot posting purge.
  11. Good grief. Being that the CTS wagon was last made in 2014, this Genesis had better trump it lol. "Style" is a relative term anyway. That aside, I want it. I still want the CTS-V Wagon as well.
  12. Belated Happy Birthday David!
  13. Very slick! Very nice! Straight to my wagon lovin' heart!
  14. Count me in with that 45+ group lol.
  15. Over the last six years or so, I have slowly grown my Vinyl collection. This project was an effort to preserve my vinyl playing ways after the original 50 year amp gave out and I could not find a replacement anywhere on earth lol. Here's some other pics of the progress over the last week or so... After gutting it, I installed some wood slats. For the record, nothing was cut away from the cabinet itself. I steed away all the original components in case I ever come across another OEM amp for it. The only change to the cabinet itself was the paint and stain job. After that, I set did a little "switcharoo" with some old school Sony floor speakers that were put into storage due to a pair of blown passive woofers (top speakers in them were active woofers with the bottom being the passive woofers). I combined the working woofers into a single cabinet and cut out two holes on one end to install the mid and tweeter from "gutted" floor speaker cabinet. Then that was installed through the back of the console and it barely fit lol. Here's the rest of the work.
