Toyota News: 2026 Toyota RAV-4 Released as Hybrid Only
surreal1272 replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Toyota
See @ccap41 post about the number of EV9 recalls. Last I checked, they are not ICE. And data from the last ten years would suggest your opinion about Honda vs Toyota to be off as well. Doesn’t matter though. You made the post for one reason. To troll Toyota. -

Shall I provide a list of competing Kia recalls (including ones from MY OWN Kia Sorento) @G. David Felt? How about we start this instead? Hope you informed your friends about this on their Honda Prologue with the same "vigor" that you put out those recalls on the RVA 4. https://hondanews.com/en-US/honda-corporate/releases/release-410d07897fdd63d8043cb72750086bf1-2024-honda-prologue-control-link-recall -

"Most" of the competition, not "more" Autocorrect lol. -

Yet, still more reliable (overall) than more of the competition, which is easily verifiable btw but you have to get in your "once a month" Toyota dig I guess. -
What in the actual non-fixing F?

When it comes to photo editing, using AI is perfectly acceptable IMO. I do get what you’re saying about it though. There is a lot of gray area where AI is concerned and as an artist, I definitely have a certain stance regarding AI. However, your use of it for this purpose does not exist in that “gray area”. You are using it like any other tool on Photoshop so have at it. Announcing its use should not even be necessary here. Just my opinion though.

Yep, white as snow lol but the pale gray looks really sharp too. A classic van color as well.

Well, on top of being a Wagon nut, I have always had a soft spot for vans overall. The first 13 years of my life were spent riding around in my dad's 71' Chevy Sport 10 van (with a 3 on the tree) and so that has always stuck with me. As far as for doing this now, the space and versatility were big needs. I sold the Flex a few years ago (when the market was insane lol) and have been driving a 2014 Kia Sorento since then. I still have it but needed something bigger and more comfy for some future road trips so I started stopping out minivans. This is the Touring L model so it doesn't have all the bells and whistles but I only needed a few of each lol. It is a 2018 with 101K miles and was well taken care of. It spent its first 50K miles as a corporate lease so maintenance was always done. I had some concerns about the 9 speed but those fears were alleviated once I put my foot through the floorboard a few times to test it. Best of all, NO PAYMENTS> I finally got some long overdue money owed to me and pst of that to get this for $13K. Needless to say, I am a happy camper right now. It does ride well and I like that it rides on 17s instead of 18s or 19s. Softer ride on those. My best bud has the same year Limited model with the largest wheels and while his rides well, it is a little firmer on the bumps than this one. Again, pretty happy camper here. I wasn't real keen on them when they first came out but the look has aged well and my tastes have clearly changed as well lol.

Lexus News: All-New 2026 Lexus ES Gets Electrification On All Models
surreal1272 replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Lexus
Ummm, what? How do you undershoot the measurement of YOUR OWN SUV by almost two feet in length? Exactly how drunk does one have to be to believe that a mid-size overdressed Camry is longer than an overdressed Suburban from 2006? Help it make sense. Agree. I've seen the higher trims of this (online, of course) and while the interior colors in those are better than what's pictured here, the overall look from the outside to the inside is a mix bag, at best.- 18 replies

Your "honest" (while loving the look of the Kia van) opinion lol. Beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder.- 18 replies

No price yet but will probably be near $50K knowing VW. Hard pass. -
Kia News: Kia EV4 Brings New Affordability to the Electric Vehicle Market
surreal1272 replied to Drew Dowdell's topic in Kia
9 times out of 10, whenever someone has to say the above, it is because it is (in fact) ugly. No amount of "seeing it in person" changes the bad angles on the back of the EV4. There is no design cohesion back there when you look at the rest of the car. It is just a mess and I will stand by that, whether seen here or in person.- 13 replies

No car, especially its rear end, should give off "Aztek" vibes. That is just an eye sore on an otherwise well packaged EV.- 13 replies
