    15 years ago, the AMG meant something because you only had one or three models (top tier models at that). Now they slap it on Damn near everything. It is just like when Chevy ruined the SS designation by slapping on FWD cars. Point being it has deluded the brand by slapping on everything, hence my quality of quantity remark.

    So the only comparison you make out the 37 AMGs is by using one the most expensive examples? Yeah, real convincing there. I am referring to the fact that there are 37 AMGs and they are not the exclusiveness they once were.

    Yes they have. It has already been pointed out and last time I checked FCA added models as well, namely Alfa but hey just keep ignoring the facts becuase of valid criticism of FCA. This a broken record at this point and I’m going to keep arguing with you over it. The facts are there and you will always continue to ignore them. Those facts I was referring to. Well said Drew.

    True but there are fresher designs out there so why you would bring up things like spoilers is just silly. For the record, there are plenty of folks who do like the sportier cues though.

    Fallacy argument and it only highlights the model deficiencies going on at FCA. The Envision, which isnt exactly hurting right now, suffers from a bland design more than from the source of its assembly.

    Since 2015, all E Series sales have been pretty much just stripped chassis and can cutaway models. Drew probably knows better than I do though.

    Reread my post that I just edited. GM has also greatly reduced fleet sales and their YTD drop is not as severe as FCA.

    Everyone reduces fleet sales at the end of the year and if everyone has outgoing or no longer in production models yet only FCA is taking a bigger hit, then it’s a problem with FCA. Example? GM YTD sales are down 0.9% while FCA is down 8%. FCA clearly has a bigger problem here and all the excuses in the world don’t change that fact.

    All manufacturers have models on there lists that are no longer in production (like the Verano and the SRX for GM). Down is down.

    And moving the bar again while ignoring the fundamental problem with your statement. Ever heard the phrase “quality over quantity”? And “performance SUVs”? Talk about an oxymoron with little justification for its existence other than to satisfy 1,000 people a year. Yeah, that’s a great use of R&D money (sarcasm wholly intended here).

    I am assuming you are including Benz in the FWD crossover and compact car category right? And AMGs? LMAO! That used to mean something before they slapped that on every other car they make, regardless of whether they had any real performance cred.

    The Bolt was the top selling EV last month and is in second place for the year (with a limited roll out to start off for most of the year). It is doing just fine despite your naysaying about its looks. Maybe this on the hood would improve it looks?

    Exactly. It’s the same reason Benz can get $140K for an acient G Wagon. As long as people are buying it then they will keep selling it for whatever price they can get.

    Huh? Seriously. Huh? To make the statement that KIA has not improved over the years simply is as untrue a statement as one can simply make here. I have driven three different KIAs over the last few years and have been surprisingly impressed with their improvements with each model. Sure, there are always some hiccups but that can absolutely be said for a sizable portion of cars, like my wife’s HHR. The electronic gremlins in that thing are about to have a date with a match and a can of gasoline. I have also had a Lexus ES300 that should have suffered the same fate before I traded it in for a Magnum.

    I will take damn near any EV over any Fiat. Oh and being around since 1899 doesn’t mean squat in the country that sent them packing in the eighties for their many $h! boxes.
