T only sucks the joy out if you let it. Sorry but a car that can hit 0-60 in less than 2.0 seconds (like the upcoming Tesla roadster) most certainly pure joy. Besides, CUVs have been sucking the joy out of driving for years now yet not one word from the peanut gallery. The focus on CUVs has done more to damage the joy of driving than any EV.

@ocnblu—All you have proven with your Amish remark is that the Amish are better at adapting to changes in technology better than you are. Thanks for proving that.

We didn’t get lazy and spoiled in so much that the world got smaller and corporations got greedier by seeking the lowest wages around the world to peddle their wares.

Oh just shut up with this nonsense. It’s called a damn joke (and was only related to the horse and buggy discussion) and you’re just mad becuase you have been called out for your repeated trolling. You’ll find my concern for you on this in the same place as the unicorn, imaginary and nowhere to be found. There was no bait. It was a joke that he wants to act all sensitive regarding and only because he was called out. I had no idea he even lived anywhere near the Amish but it does not change my original point which was it was a f@#king joke. If he can’t handle that, then maybe it’s he that needs to find a safe space where he can continue to troll what he doesn’t like without resistance. Might I suggest www.fossilfuelsrockandsolarandevssuck.com?

So is no electricity and butter churning lol. Not saying fossil fuels are dead in the water per say. They have many other uses outside of the automotive industry but it seems to me that the writing is on the wall and one day fossil fuels will no longer be the dominant source of power in the world.

Someone just needs a nap and a moment to comptemplate their reasons for being here, other than being a EV troll. It seems that is not working out very well. Oh well, his loss and the reason why that line of thinking will be a distant memory in the near future. Adapt or get left behind, just like the horse and buggy, the typewriter, and soon to be old ass fossil fuels.

I’m referring to the regulations more than the building of new ones because I know that’s never going to happen. Progress happens for a reason, whether some people here want to believe it or not. This^^! A thousand times this^^!!!

There were many valiant attempts to do just that by the previous administration that are now being undone by the current administration.

How many times do you have to be told that they are cracking on other CO2 producers (including the large ones) before you stop just making up reasons why EVs suck? Hell, the current administration is trying to roll back those very regulations against the coal industry, regulations you have clearly forgot about or ignored during your little crusade. It is clearly fear on your part, not preference. BTW, you can keep downvoting the facts, but it doesn’t change those very facts. Good f@#king grief man.

No you are not the only one but you are part of an ever shrinking minority that wants to cling to the past and bitch and moan like what you are saying is going to change a single thing about progress and technology. All I have to say is “buck up” becuase it’s not changing just becuase you can’t or won’t see the writing on the wall.

And they have been cracking on power plants. That’s the point that Mr. Anti-EV does not get while talking about cows and other non-related crap. There have been efforts almost accross the board to reduce CO2, yet he says “why bother” just because of his half baked hang up of EVs. The horse and buggy industry would be proud of him. Oh wait. They don’t exist anymore.

Newsflash, you can’t control the CO2 emissions of living creatures. You can with everything else. What is amsuing is the “well there’s all the other sources of pollution so why bother with cars?” argument. It’s amusing and foolishly ignorant. And yes, say hello to the horse and buggy industry while you fight the obvious evolution of technology.

Where is this fantasy planet that doesn’t have regulations? And your last paragraph sound like the words of the horse and buggy business over a century ago. Say hello them.

Oh good picky lord. Just read the explanation given by Casa before slamming the design. It obviously wasn’t done that way just for nothing. We are not talking about a 94 Civic where is looks like a damn bi plane in reverse. I personally think the Benz spoiler looks worse than on the Vette simply because it doesn’t go with the rest of the cars design. Same complaint, different car.

The bias was not for you and looks part is purely subjective since they are two totally different cars in two different price brackets. I’m not crazy about the spoiler but it does serve a function and the rest of the car looks sharp to me as opposed to the stretched out 911 profile of the Benz. Just my opinion though.

Benz bias kicking in there because it looks every bit as “tacky” as the Vette, which is pulled almost straight off of the racing Vette. See my above response and add this. The green model does not have an adjustable spoiler but this one does.

The key word in that is “before”. It hasn’t in years and doesn’t look to change that anytime soon. And I don’t care about global sales (especially since the Slade is not sold outside of the US) or your damn bar moving. You made a silly point about the GLS and space and I countered it with facts.
-
Yeah, just leave out the fact that you can get a longer Escalade with far more cargo room. Btw, that jumps to 120.9 cubic feet while the Slade continues to outsell the GLS Uh oh indeed.
-
Just stop the bull$h! OCN. We get it. You think EVs suck while you parade around in a POS Jeep. Honestly, just take a flying leap. BTW, my reasons for not having one are quite simple. I’m selling my house soon and don’t want to take on extra debt genius. It has zero to do with the car itself. Grow the f@#k up.
