  1. It will work, no doubt about that.
  2. Wow.....
  3. Since GM can't have make bold corporate decisions anymore, I'm sure GM will follow the pack and American full sized vans as we know it will be a thing of the past... unless you count the Nissan NV, which is more like a full size van than these Sprinter/Transit/Ducato things. With such a short overhang and so much windshield, I can't see how the Ducato would pass our crash tests... even our more lenient truck crash tests. You'd be right...should be the plan I'd bet. But, I find the old vans better to drive.....drove a sprinter....wow, I hated it....like driving a giant toaster!
  4. Very nice!

  7. In honesty, I have more attachment to my Cavalier than my Cobalt, which is down to "beater" status now (granted, a well cared for one). Just could never get excited about it I guess..so I can't help you there. It's been a good little "puddlejumper" as well......should stick around for a while. Sounds like it's time for a new onre...
  8. Depends on gas prices and the economy. My current thought is that the Sonic will be too small for a family car (in my case). The tough part is that their prices are pretty close together.....though the younger crowd may swing toward the sonic for the looks and better handling. Since I think gas prices will get higher, (because the have to) they both should do well regardless.
  9. What does it need?
  10. My feeling is if it can't be done right, it's not worth doing at all. It's one of the reasons I don't have a project car right now. There is a chance that I might be picking up a 26 year old J body vert, but only if the body is in good shape. The rest of the car will be easy since I've already owned a few....and they are cheap to fix. Since you're underemployed, it simply would not be worth it in case something went wrong. And with that, there is a good chance there would be. At least in my case, it just needs a fuel pump to get it running.....
