Ah...I forgot to say that I was referring to that black box on the cord that the slim comes with.... And it gets plenty of air (nothing around it at all) I'm wondering if it could be a dust issue.....

Another quick question for the gamers here... I just picked up a free PS2 today (old style), and I'm trying to remember if these came with "bricks" or not. (My PS2 slim does) My slim seems to have an "hour" issue-sometimes it just shuts itself off after an hour, and I know the brick itself is fine.. Here's to hoping...
