No. While I can agree with some of the model cuts, there are just too many plants that are gone. If you can live with that many plant closings, then you would be better off cutting even more models.... And where are you getting a profit? What makes you think that the current models are going to be winners? Still too many factors there....

Compared to most of the compacts out there, it's just about a steaming pile of poo. ( And I own one) Looks as boring as a Corolla, no updates since introduction. (a new steering wheel doesn't count) It's saving grace is it's powertrain, and that they have a fairly good discount. Granted, I like mine (though the seats suck), but most people seem to be avoiding them...I've never seen so many just sitting on dealership lots......

USA? What? I'm talking about canada here.... Even if they close that plant (or plants), the outrage would be so high that GM would have to build something there anyways....... And Mexico is not the answer either.
