Hope things turn out well.... The moron who hit my car only lived a block from my girlfriend's house....we happened to drive by it..... On top of that-no insurance..... -
Update- the trans pulled a strange upshift....it's going in to get looked at...

I agree with the first part, but the Geos weren't so much bad cars as they were really poorly marketed. They should have gone to the different divisions... The Prisms ended up being pretty good cars.....

I wish Detroit was giving them away ( I live in the Detroit Metro area) Houses that were selling for 140-150k on my parent's block are now down to the low 100s...... And every block around here at least has 1 house that was foreclosed on.... As much as I would like to run away from MI, leaving now right now before a major ression with no support or family is not going to be a wise idea... If I can find a decent job, the prices around here should make it easier to own and care for a home here....

About a week ago I caught someone testing my door handles to see whether the wagon was locked or not....and this happened at the local mall. Usually If I'm going in for a few minutes, I might leave it unlocked. Not anymore. The guy jumped into a Neon and drove away....I wanted to get the plate number, but it didn't have a plate....

I agree that there is (or will be soon) a nice recession coming... Here in Michigan-it's going to look like the great depression.... With the housing market crashing-would now be a good time to buy a house? the deals around here are not bad-I would really like to get a house soon....

Hands down, that has to be the worst Astra I've ever seem. IT screams "rice" and " what the hell is it?!" at the same time... I wondering if they were pretending it was a Civic....

Just keep hammering them-if they don't get the point-oh well....... Just do what you believe in-that is what counts. I'm found to find that there is always a steady train of stupid..... I've stepped my share of toes on boards all over....

Yeah, my other Eco has been good to me (still runs like new) Of course, nothing lasts long here in Michigan..I nailed a nice sized pothole today...

I guess it depends on what is more imoprtant to you- money or Family (or location) I tend to be close with family, so I could live with a little extra money... Extra money won't buy me more time with family.... At some points in our lives we're willing to do just about anything, and in others we just want it to be stable. It kinda sounds like you're thinking about just keeping things simple......
