  1. Cooper works Mini?
  2. Yeah, that was my biggest worry-the engine and trans. The Eco seems to be doing well ( and will get some extra help by joining the Mobil 1 family) I think the highway miles did it good.... And the trans fluid looks good, and shifts fine. If I do get it though-I'll probably do a complete fluid change a tick or to after 50k miles......
  3. agreed. And they are quite fun to drive too!
  4. I'm kinda thinking about it. It's an 06 LS Coupe, with 30k on it... It's quite rough on the outside (I'm detailing it now) with quite a few scratches, dents....a bit rough on the inside, but I'm making it look pretty decent.... It's been in an accident-though it was a light one- and inpected by both myself and my dad ( car is in family) Even though it looks rough on the outside, the Eco is in good shape (almost all highway miles) and the rest underneath is good too..... and I could probably pick up between 5-7 grand...... Even though it's a coupe (really don't need another one), it would make a good replacement for the wagon, and can be paid off fairly quickly..... And knowing I'll going to have to put a few more bucks in the wagon soon.... What do you guys think?

    Chevy Express

    Interesting....
  6. Well, I'm already hearing of rear end issues, so if you do-be careful-or at least wait a while....
  7. True-but wouldn't running a thicker oil up the chance that you would get a serious leak? (By the pressure of the oil) I've seen it done on healthy engines, but the few I've seen trying to save an engine has not ended well....
  8. Happy B-day!
  9. I wish I could go-but I have to work....
  10. Hmm...some of us might just take you up on that offer...MMM....an Aura would be nice..... Anyways, congrats to Fly and everyone who makes this site what it is.....
  11. The New Accord is nice...but it doesn't seem quite as good as I expected....which surprised me.... GM is getting the chance to catch up....now is the time to make the right moves....
  12. True, it has made money at times. There's a good chance it won't make money since it will wilt on the vine until the new one rolls out.... Goods news is the HHR has been making money since it rolled out.... So as much as I'm not thrilled about it going there....it will help GM make some money....
  13. You got it. This is how GM plans to build a better Balt'-while actually making some money on it this time....
  14. Can't say more than that-the man hit it rght on the head....
  15. Umm..yea. They don't sell Crown Vics retail anymore.... And the anwser to the other question is that they are on an Avis lot in florida.....
  16. Very True.
  17. Wow, that is a rough day...
  18. It's crap- don't waste your money. I've seen it end two cars life already...it doesn't really do anything but clog stuff up... If you have to use something, you'd be better off with high-milage oil or Marvel Mystery Oil......
  19. No, it just needs to go away. I don't know if you noticed, but there are very few "gentleman" left..... and if there is a few, my guess is that they are driving Lexus....... Heck, I don't even se as many panthers around any more....
  20. Anyways, looking past the retarded comments, this is going to be another nasty blow to the local ecomony in the Metro Detroit area...Many were surprised that it would be so many... My dad is one of the lucky ones-he just moves to the day shift. Part of the reason this is happening to the clear "the extra fat" when the Volt gets there in a few years...GM is still not sure how the new Volt will sell...but if it does sell-some people might come back... The other reason is that that the DTS production is going to end early next year-the cars sales have been dropping for months now-and GM wants to put the money into other Caddy products...There's still an interal fight within the plant to try the save the DTS and maybe a few more jobs.....Rumors of this have been going on in the plant for months.... If the Lucrene sales don't pick up-things might get interesting........
