From someone who has owned both J-bodies and Neons....I would avoid the Neons all together.... It took them until 2001 to really figure out that headgasket issues, and the 02+ came up with a new problem-The trans. Not to mention that pretty much all Neons (and the PTs) are famous for burning oil...regardless of milage. Besides th annoying interior on the 95+, the Js tend to last much longer (just don't tell BV :AH-HA_wink: ) THough there are certain models/years that I would avoid..... I'm surprised you see so many 1st gens...I did too until a few years ago. Though when I went to the yard a few months ago, there were nearly 20 1st gen Neons just sitting there......

I'm not even sure what to think about the COT....

I don't remember seeing a Civic in a TP around here....cost too much around here. A riced out Neon, maybe.

Agreed. I've had only a few problems with my cavs..even the old wagon is hanging in there...at 14 years and rust..... The Neon, and the other hand.... :censored: I see quite a few 95+ Cavs...but very few 95+ Neons.... That is, until I stopped at the local yard.....

I very much agree with that...... Some things I'm planning: -A simple 1000sf starter home in a nice area..... - a limit of 20 grand for a new car (and there has to be a decent down payment) - And money saved every week...
