    Time...

    Very Nice...
  3. That sound like fun...
  4. Wow. Just wow. That really sucks. It makes me wonder about the state of our bridges... And they just ruled out terrorist.....
  5. I kinda like it-then agin I liked the Metro too.... If it had a/c, auto, an airbag, and a good price (well under 10k), it would make a good city commuter car. Add a good aftermarker CD player-and bam-you're set.
  6. Whaa....?! He's just a kid! And the Bonnie can be fixed....things happen man...stupid things......
  7. It also is going to depend on what model you want.... If you're willing to get a lower end model, you might get a better deal...
  8. Not right off the back, no. Unless you have a wiling dealership... Though give it about six months..... Rumor that I heard-GM may offer some good lease rates on the CTS to really get these cars out there....a mistake they didn't do with the Lucrene.. so you could be lucky.....
  9. Wow, just wow... Yep, I and know that won't fly in Coldwater..... Then again, to give you guys a little background on this-Coldwater seems be be a very strange little city....My buddy was nearly killed by an old drunk down there..... I think I would have to agree with 98 on quite a bit of what he said- We all do stupid things in the heat of the moment-if you told me otherwise-I'll call you a lair. Was it really stupid? Yes. It was better off to let it be. I would like to know a bit more though.... Also, keep in mind times are really bad in Michigan right now-that alone causes drama. A guy who I used to go to school with ended up in jail after really beating up his wife. He was a really nice guy-and after the job loss a few months ago-things went downhill fast..... Now I'm not here to make excuses, but maybe give you guys a little bit of insight that might help...I hope.
  10. Yep, isn't that the truth. I'm surprised that there is not more sink holes.... And as far a speed, I consider that normal speeds around here. I was in a buddy's Malibu on 94, going about 80 when we were passed by a Mustang like we were standing still....
  11. It got canceled?
  12. I wanna go...
  13. NIce, I just saw a white one yesterday... That is a good lookin one...
  14. *YAWN* I thought they would do more... Better engines would help this thing quite a bit...what good does a nicer interior if it doesn't go any faster?
  15. Happy B-day guys!
  16. All very true. No GMS there....
  17. Well, we saw this coming from a mile away..... Discounts aren't really hurting the 900s....IT IS THE PRICE OF GAS. This can't bear repeating enough. All those buyers who wanted to buy a truck for the "image", can't afford to do it. I really need to take a few pictures of a few of our local Chevy dealerships....guess what I see on the trade in lots? You guessed it- TB's, Silverados, Tahoes, and so on.....70 pecent of the lot is some sort of truck or Suv. A barrel of oil is heading toward 80 bucks...there is a good chance it could hit 90 by the end of the year...4 bucks a gallon is just a matter of time...don't let the current price fool you.... I expected the truck market to take a hit, and keep taking a hit for a while..... Now I see why there are so many Impys around here... If I were GM, I would really consider doing something the the Colorado/Canyon twins...and small truck would come in handy for those who need a truck....good gas milage with a solid truck would soften the large truck blow.... As much as I would like a new Silverado, I don't think I could handle both bigger payments and putting over a 100 bucks in gas in it every few weeks.... Unless every new Silverado came with a free Aveo.....
  18. Well, how about a different insight... I own a few of GM's previous compacts, the wonderful ( ) Cavalier... And since they will be paid off soon, I could be in the market for another compact in six months..... The difference between the Cavalier and Cobalt are like night and day. Pull My brother's Balt next to our Cav, and it really makes you wonder why it took GM so long to get this car out.... I think a lot depends on where you are coming from... The thing that sells the Cobalt is Value-hands down. There are going to be nice rebates on this thing until the refresh... It's about the same as the Korean companies....while much better than the Cav, it doesn'tlook all that great compared to the Civic, Mazada 3, new Focus, and the new Sentra..... It's kinda turning into the Cavalier ( it's slowly getting Cav resale) If I was going to buy the best, it would be the Civic. It's a fun car to drive, great on gas, and has some cool stuff to boot.... But like Carbiz said-I'm not paying nearly 19-21 grand for a compact car. Things Good about the Balt. 1. Offers best value in class-whether with GMS or rebates or something else, you will save some money.. 2. Good Engine-quiet, and will run for a long time, or at least to 100k if you don't take care of it... 3. offers you a choice of a coupe ( not as many out there) 4. 5year/100k warr. I f was buying today-it would be a Cobalt. I like the looks, it will get me at least 30mpgs, last me a while (though I could lease) If I bought, I could prob get a LT with what I want (sunroof, spoiler, poineer system) for around 15 grand... Not too bad.... I've driven all the compacts (exp 08s), and the Balt still has it selling points... As far as the refresh-it needs everthing the new Bu' is getting, plus one hell of a pocket rocket....
  19. Wow...
