  1. It's interesting...I thought Purolator was better than that...... I won't touch Fram with a ten foot pole...I tried it once in the wagon...the oil looked pretty bad after about 1k.... Ditto with the old Neon we had...I won't dare even try the tough guard ones.... K&N has a good rep with the tuner crowd-they do work very well...but they start over 10 bucks- I'd have to think about it..
  2. Why? That bad?
  3. Happy B-day!
  4. I'm usually right on with most of my stuff, but even this kinda surprised me...which begs me to ask the Question: How many do you guys use a Delco oil filter? I'm usually a Delco man myself, but within these last few rounds of oil changes, the filter themselves don't seem to last very long any more..... I was wondering if anybody knew if they changed em' or something.. Granted my wife does a good amount of city driving, but I expected the Mobil 1 inside to be a heck of a lot cleaner after 3k on the oil... My buddy used a Pululator (sp, I know) One filter, does almost the same amount of driving after 3k, but his oil (the same oil) looks much, much better.. My wagon got a oil change at the local car care center (too cold to change it myself), and they slapped on a Napa filter instead of my usual delco one. Even the oil in the wagon (dino), looks much better after a bit over 2k on it then it noramlly does.... I'm starting to think GM cheaped out recently of these filters or something to it...What to you gyus think? I;m planning to a switch of fliters on her car (pululator (sp!) One, Wix, maybe K&N) to see what happens...
  5. It's interesting,I'll say that. Something about that rear scares me...
  6. Quick 5 minutes of fame....
  7. Sad. Just sad....
  8. I wonder how it will be priced? We'll have to see how the other models sell first, I guess...
  9. About 340, I think. These things can take a lot of abuse...

    ? I'm not getting it..
  11. I only wish I could tell the stories I've seen and been though, but I wouldn't know where to start. That, and my current job patrols the websites for any kind of "stories"...I know of an employee who was canned for bad-mouthing the company.. So I have to watch what I say...
  12. No, It's going to look like a Mini-Malibu-at least the sedan will. They may or may not have a coupe the next time around....though chances are better they will. And the Cobalt won't have a wagon/hatch-that's the HHR's job. And I'm waiting to see what other cars will fall on the Delta II platform, Balt', Astra....
  13. Very Interesting. I'd rather have the new car Card from Citi that lets you put points toward any car, any brand (just in case) I found out you can even use it on some used cars....
  14. Saabs are fun to drive....drove a 9-5 wagon a while back...
  15. If it keeps raining here-I'm going to go stir crazy...

  18. Agreed.
  19. I like the BMWs...I've been to the dealership..and they are quite cool... I'd also agree with Nick-they are good starter bikes... I've been considering one myself....
  20. I would say, yes and yes. As gas prices rise, there will be room for another compact in GM's line-up... Though if they are going to do that-they need to make sure it is done right, or don't even waste the time. It needs to be full of toys, and priced around the same as the Astra. Price will be huge. As far as the Park Ave, that is a no-brainer....
  21. That's gotta be one of the worst chops I've seen....
