  1. Sable. Century. GM. Crown Vic. In that order.
  2. Ouch! Though I have to agree..a neighbor got into a nasty smash (hit by three different cars) and was able to walk away from it..(after needing to be cut out) He swears by onr now, after his 00' was totaled, he got a GXP..
  3. I liked the Impy..and drove a 06 before they sold though them all here... A white LS....for a around town car it is a cozy ride.. And those 200+ horsies were great on the freeway.. just give me a nice tasteful set of 17' aftermarket rims and a sunroof, and I would be good to go... B)
  4. Now I want to know too....
  5. i'm hoping for the same there...my 3.1 is at 132k right now....runs pretty good, though it is goinf to need a few things..a MAP sensor, fuel filter (even though the other one isn't that old).. The thing that worries me a bit is the fact that I can smell Antifreeze after driving for a while. Oil looks fine (aside from the fact it will be due for an oil change) and its not leaking it, nor is it down at all. My guess is I might have a leaky hose starting somewhere... If these can all get fixed right(no surprises), I'm hoping my wagon will get to 200k....
  6. Sliverado. Your mass crazy seller right there... Or tahoe....
  7. ????? I wonder how my laugh at the joke on the last page ended up all the way over here..... Strange... Now back to our regular programming.....
  8. The way I see it, it leaves room for mistakes... Doing it in less time is fine, But halfing the time? Something is bound to get left out... The question becomes, not only CAN they do it, but can they do it RIGHT?
  9.
  10. Yep, so I wouldn't even worry about it.I'm sure by the time most of the 07s and 08s roll out, stanard is what they will be. Sometimes I just don't understand why it is such a big deal. When a neighbor bought a cavalier last year for his commuter car, he was going to just pick a a base car, but for a little over a grand more (ABS, side airbags) he was going to save around 50 bucks a month on car insurance! Heck, the few extra bucks on the car are worth the savings in car insurance alone after a few years... :)
  11. Agreed. Most people just commmute and realx...not getting a twtich...
  12. quoted for truth.
  13. makes me wonder if I'm getting one next... or should I laugh..?
  14. Ops! Sorry-meant last one. Boy, can I read or what!
  15. First one. Too late-I'm taken already... :P
  16. Looks much better than the curent Aveo... I want to see this thing in person now. :) Gotta agree with BV here, I want to see the hatch too.
  17. My dad had a 74 datsun truck for a while...was pretty cool..
  18. Wonderful, things like that should happen more often...
  19. Here's one that surprises me-lack of 80s to early 90s Ford Escorts...
  20. The Ls wasn't bad. Heck, I just drove a black LS. I had to say I liked it. Not thrilled about the wheelcovers, but then again, I'd probably put my own set on anyways.. :P
  21. I have to agree with Northstar, all the delta's should at least offer it. Simply put, if they try to have a battle out with the Civic, no matter what they do, GM WILL lose. And that is the cold, hard, facts. If GM can't beat them in the game, then they should do something different. The Cobalt ( and more so, ION) need to grab some cred with everyone they can. If you think they should just stick with only trying to improve the Balt', look no farther the Neon to see where things are headed. Glad to see DC realized that too... Neither the Subie or MItsu are great cars be any means( when compared to the Civic and Corolla), but with top car creds with both street and rally people, people look past the stupid things that others tear though GM car line. Think a Cavalier would even survive a rally event? Just fit and finish and trying to match the best won't cut it anymore. If the Cobalt wants to build on its sucesses, it needs to be both different, improved, and maybe even a little cool. B) If AWD will help it get there, by all means put it in there. Chances are good it would add to sales anyways, considering Gm sells quite a few Vibe and Nox AWD models in those rough patches around here. -end rant- Whew!
  22. I thought with the Vibe's updating in the next year or so, the trim levels were going to be changed, with a value/loaded/GT model line. More would be standard, and the price would mirror the HHR as far as priced was concerned. I know the Corolla gets a bunch stanard of its update, such I expect the Vibe will benefit from that... so you should be able to get a nice Vibe for around 16 grand, or about 15 or so with ED.....
  23. The silverados (and such) aren't getting them because quite a few where built a while back, and just being released now...they rushed to get a bunch out there, cause the plants will be shut down for a while during change over. I think if you wanted to order one, you have to do it before x-mas... Aveos get them in 07.... CSVs should have them, if they don't- they will. I wouldn't waste the badges, but whatever...
  24. Actually, not bad looking... :)
