  1. makes me wonder if I'm getting one next... or should I laugh..?
  2. Ops! Sorry-meant last one. Boy, can I read or what!
  3. First one. Too late-I'm taken already... :P
  4. Looks much better than the curent Aveo... I want to see this thing in person now. :) Gotta agree with BV here, I want to see the hatch too.
  5. My dad had a 74 datsun truck for a while...was pretty cool..
  6. Wonderful, things like that should happen more often...
  7. Here's one that surprises me-lack of 80s to early 90s Ford Escorts...
  8. The Ls wasn't bad. Heck, I just drove a black LS. I had to say I liked it. Not thrilled about the wheelcovers, but then again, I'd probably put my own set on anyways.. :P
  9. I have to agree with Northstar, all the delta's should at least offer it. Simply put, if they try to have a battle out with the Civic, no matter what they do, GM WILL lose. And that is the cold, hard, facts. If GM can't beat them in the game, then they should do something different. The Cobalt ( and more so, ION) need to grab some cred with everyone they can. If you think they should just stick with only trying to improve the Balt', look no farther the Neon to see where things are headed. Glad to see DC realized that too... Neither the Subie or MItsu are great cars be any means( when compared to the Civic and Corolla), but with top car creds with both street and rally people, people look past the stupid things that others tear though GM car line. Think a Cavalier would even survive a rally event? Just fit and finish and trying to match the best won't cut it anymore. If the Cobalt wants to build on its sucesses, it needs to be both different, improved, and maybe even a little cool. B) If AWD will help it get there, by all means put it in there. Chances are good it would add to sales anyways, considering Gm sells quite a few Vibe and Nox AWD models in those rough patches around here. -end rant- Whew!
  10. I thought with the Vibe's updating in the next year or so, the trim levels were going to be changed, with a value/loaded/GT model line. More would be standard, and the price would mirror the HHR as far as priced was concerned. I know the Corolla gets a bunch stanard of its update, such I expect the Vibe will benefit from that... so you should be able to get a nice Vibe for around 16 grand, or about 15 or so with ED.....
  11. The silverados (and such) aren't getting them because quite a few where built a while back, and just being released now...they rushed to get a bunch out there, cause the plants will be shut down for a while during change over. I think if you wanted to order one, you have to do it before x-mas... Aveos get them in 07.... CSVs should have them, if they don't- they will. I wouldn't waste the badges, but whatever...
  12. Not bad..very different, which people like. Expect for the wheels, I have to say I like it...
  13. I do think that the new Accord could almost pass for a lexus, at least from the rear. Hmm....
  14. Price points mean nothing unless GM has cars that people want, not just buy just because it is a good deal. I'm waiting to see how the new cars now out there sell, though it looks like they are going to do well. If the trucks can add the "wow" factor like they did back in 99, then GM can worry about what they need (or want ) to charge for their cars. Too many people jusy laugh at their prices now. Wagoner needs to make sure these cars are getting respect of there, or don't even waste the time to keep building them. (lacrosse, G6, Ion) Most of the cars/trucks in the lineup do play well againist others..but there needs to be constant improving, Now. If they can pull a good price of the reabte off of these cars, and they still sell, Then I can say the Wagoner can have a little victory party... I think he might be on his way, but you never know with GM...
  15. No, No, No, Nope... <_< There is no "I" in team..
  16. Whoopie, I'll try not to trip over myself trying to get to the dealership.. I think the employees already have enough cars right now.. Heck, it's going to be a few years before I buy the Cobalt... (unless the "freshening" is better, which in case, I'll wait till 08) I don't think it is going to enough to drag employees on in....
  17. Pretty bad, I think that way too... Drives my wife up the wall.. ^_^
  18. Where was this? I've been on campus when bad storms happened, but never a tornado...
  19. Cobalt: Simple, yet doesn't look like a bar of soap...
  20. Agreed. And with gas prices as high as they are, people pimp-smacked to a tight budget are going to love this car...
  21. So far in the last week I've seen like 5 LTs and three LSs, all in different colors.. Yes, with gas prices now, it's going to be a hit.. GM finally got some timing on this one... :)
  22. Interesting...wonder if they would build something like that..
  23. Nice...have to say it looks better than the Aveo... Seems like Hyundi wants their cars to look close to Hondas and Toyotas... Looks to be a good car for the price though... I'll wait to see the new Aveo first...(hopefully)
