    Two facts: 1-The brand will fail here-AGAIN. They offer nothing of value.. 2- Only success story you will see would be for the Chinese brands. Why? Because a car costs too much and these automakers can bring them cheaper.....

    With the cars, not so much. People like my dad (now retired)made sure those cars got out the way they were supposed to. But I could spend hours with stories on just how bad some of those line workers screwed things up! Like no other plant that I have seen........

    Meh, with the age of our fleet, I could just dump the Equinox on the wife.. ? Besides being a bit more plasticy than I like and the stop start issue, the Nox is a pretty nice ride. Even just having an LS offers me quite a bit.... I think if I could sock a little more in funds to go to the Nox, I could see a nice Jeep in the near future.......

    Love that color! Stop start is annoying on my Equinox...still not used to it yet! Love the GCs, it was pretty much my choice before the nox. I am starting to think I might dump the Chevy for a limited one of these (all they have around here). Drove my bosses 18 Limited, and I really loved it. Just a very solid ride to me....

    Given how often D-Ham fuks up, I would rather seen it be Lordstown.... Still blows my mind how the Equinox can’t move there and save one plant-and just build something else in Mexico...... I’ve thought for quite a few years now that the plants should have switched......

    Highly thinking no-though china is the major testing ground for EVs now. If GM plans to focus on EVs, Buick would be the biggest waste to do it on. Better yet, if Buick is just going to be another copycat division- just send the whole brand to China instead....

    Oh trust me, I believe you. ? And I agree! But not everybody is in the same boat as you and I, or even care about cars like us. That is also saying if they are using common sense too.... ?

    Depends on what profit level it will be- if GM makes more money on scooters, Wall Street may not take kindly to them wasting money on niche products.......

    Could make sense if folks didn’t want to spend a grand or more on a phone-that is today’s “luxury”.....

    In adding to my “dark: comment above, I would love to see a few “niche” models for Caddy, Buick, and maybe even Pontiac. Each model/models could offer the comsumer something different, whether it be sporty or even stately. But the GM/caddy idea is good....

    Watching what GM is doing now, it starts to make sense that Buick simply becomes a china brand and caddy simply just goes away. In a future where electric cars and scooters become your main focal point- there’s no point in keeping the shiny things around...... I keep preaching that the car is dead....and at some point-the SUV as well. Trucks live on due to work demands. But between the cost and the lack of interest in vehicles in general- Uber, electric and public transportation is your future.........

    Funny you ask.... I have numerous Aussie friends (many American transplants) who see the same problem there we see here-the dying love for good old fashioned fashion metal. They are just much farther along than we are.... And you are right-it is a much tougher place for EVs-but a great testing ground to try all that new fangled stuff too.... If i had my way, RWD would be rushing back there in a hurry ... ?
