    I should feel thankful that I can actually take my headlights off to change my bulbs...thought getting them back in is always a pain.. I fear what it could be like for the Equinox....

    Pretty sure everyone looks like banks (like BOA) as evil and expect that anyways... And you have to remember that these are the last of the decent paying line jobs. GM could have full automation in their plants within months if they wanted to. But there is still some old school pride in having people build the cars-and in normal times-this might have been looked at as something that “has” to happen. In times like this-not so much. Hence why it is looked so bad upon. Granted GM does see some of the writing on the wall, but they can’t even give their employees a solid reason either (like why they can’t move product around instead) is why they are so pissed.... At some point, it’s not going to make a difference anyways. Sales in general are going to take a major slide....rough times and sky high prices are going to give the industry a beating they have never seen before. And GM doesn’t learn anyways...don’t announce these things-just do them. Even the banks have that figured out...

    I would agree with that...though lucky my parents have such things to climb into. Heck, I’m getting older and like the height of my Nox as well. Though I expect this to be the last month for any kind of decent sales. Between the shutdown and other economic issues, I expect a nasty downtown in pretty much anything. Had I not already had plans for the Equinox, I would have just waited or got used, which will be what the wife will get...

    It’s cute that you all are talking about the Amish and EVs, but I think there is a much bigger problem for GM and Tesla.... It’s called the Chinese. I feel they are much farther ahead in the EV game than the US is, and can be made much cheaper as well. A plug in that goes the distance and costs the same as a Chevy Spark? Yeah, I see some sales there......

    Call me greedy, but i want it all. Good gas powered drivers, and my EV tech too, If GM doesn’t, sure I will find someone who does....

    Pretty sure we are hitting the ceiling when it comes to phone prices... Even the apple faith start questioning the grand plus phones.....

    It’s funny you mention the correction....as I believe it will be quite nasty. So GM continuing to keep those “pricey” things going (trucks and SUVs) is going to come back and bite them hard. People simply are not going to be able to afford them....so people are going to look for a a cheaper ride, cheap gas prices or not.... GM really does need to think this out better-while automation is coming, they might want to at least keep the lights on in some plants for different products (and EVs as well) There is a reason why other automakers are not dumping cars in a hurry like GM and Ford....While folks may not be looking at a Civic now, it will for sure get a look when money is much tighter and gas prices go up... Moving and keeping some the product around (Cruze, Volt) might be a better idea in the long run......

    It’s hard for anything not to be driven into politics anymore, sadly. IT has divided our membership over the years, ands separated us from our common love of cars. It is a battle that has had me retiring from some of my fave car sites over the last few years........who knows-maybe I am just living in the past..... It has been quite the interesting news year for car related stuff though? And of course, thank you again Bobo! And have a great year to all my friends and members here... And for old time’s sake +1

    Very true...and fun to drive is what will help them out. Catch is they can’t enjoy it while it’s being worked on.... That said, I hope they do improve them for us to enjoy....

    Man, didn’t even get to see the Blazers there yet...oh well. No matter, today I picked up a 2019 Equinox LS in Kinetic Blue. Posted a few pics of FB, as I get a few more (snowing here now), I will post those bad boys here..... One thing I like about this color is that it gives it a sporty look without the chrome......
