That's pretty weird of LG to not include a DVI cable, seeing as it's more or less the defacto standard these days. I don't think the Samsung's lack of HDMI is a big deal; HDMI is more or less DVI with the ability to transmit audio. In fact, I'd be a bit concerned with the LG, as its specifications don't show it having HDCP compatibility, nor does the website. In case you decide to run Blu-Ray, or any copy-protected media now or in the future, not having HDCP could mean incompatibility. Looking at the two, the Samsung appeals more to me. Yes, it's slightly smaller, but their LCD panels are brilliant, and I love mine to death. Also, the forward-thinker in me is looking at the bezel of the Samsung and notices that it looks thinner than the LG's, should a dual-monitor setup or Eyefinity be a possibility in the future. BTW, Food for thought: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001389R&cm_re=24%22_led-_-24-001-389R-_-Product Look at all that real-estate. I'd be tempted to take a gamble on that one, even if it's open box. Sometimes they lack the cables and driver disc, but then how much is a DVI cable? My only concern would be dead pixels.- The car for Camino
Shaddup USA, the cars we Canadians make helped you win the War of Independence.- LCD monitors
I have a 21.6" Samsung from a couple years ago with 5ms response, and I've never found any blurring. Granted, I'm not looking for blur, but I only sit a couple feet away from the monitor, so I'd think it'd be noticeable. Nice price for an LED! If I recall correctly, you run a 4770; would it even crank out decent 1920x1080 or did you sink your teeth into a new 5850 and 'forget' to tell us?- Why can't GM advertise like this?

Gorgeous interior; ChryCo's really getting it right, and I hope it continues with more of their upcoming models. The tone of the ad is interesting. I think it'll resonate with viewers, as it doesn't come off overly cheesy as other 'home-team' ads often do.- Video: What happens in an Internet car forum
LOOOOL!! Someone did something similar about a 350Z forum discussion; "They all laughed at me. Supercharged G told me to die in a fire." This makes me appreciate C&G so much more.- Submitted for your approval
This would be acceptable as :hurrdurr:- Middle Market Brands
Sorry, I'm not buying that 'working poor' thing, at all. The consolidation of brands has nothing to do with class, or income, but instead the awareness of automakers that customers' shopping habits are based on product more than brand. A lot of people are looking beyond the badge, especially with the current economic situation. And what'd you really get with those mid-market brands? A Buick was pretty much a gussied up Chevrolet anyways, and even the level of 'gussying up' was pretty minute in quite a number of cases.- Heads Up
This reminds me. I have a $100 coupon for Google AdSense that I got for shopping at an online retailer. Does C&G have an AdSense account? Because I have no use for the promotion code, and it expires on the 14th. I'm not sure if it can be used by anyone else, but I'll happily give it to C&G so you guys can try it, and see if you can advertise this place.- Anyone here never used a manual transmission?
I did at a young age, where I drove an old Ford tractor on my uncle's farm during summers. It made me appreciate automatics ever so much more.- Russia's Solution to the BP Spill!
Essentially, they would drill a new hole near the well until they are well within a layer of solid rock. Then the nuke would be fitted in, and detonated. If everything goes to plan, the pressure from the explosion would cause the rock to move up against the pipe and pinch it shut. This would never fly, of course. Even though it's insane, it's still less insane than consulting James Cameron. However, this could mean that the shrimp population in the region would also mutate into jumbo shrimp, which would be pretty awesome for all. But there's also the chance that they could mutate into jumbo shrimp with lazer eyes, as shown in this artist's rendering:- Russia's Solution to the BP Spill!
