Busy Days are Busy
I sat on my ass working on a Twelfth Night essay. Fun times.

New forum software. Shiny!
I'm a bit concerned about the 'rep points' function. I know this isn't a gaming forum, but you'd be amazed how some people can get angry over a little coloured box with an integer inside of it. It calls to mind the 'Great Rep War' of '08 at a gaming forum I used to belong to. Posts were made. PM's were sent. Profile's were raged in. Ego's were bruised.

I Hate Dylan
The only Dylan album I enjoy is 'Nashville Skyline.' Otherwise, I just can't stand the man.

Happy Birthday Oldsmoboi!
Happy Birthday dude! Make sure your cake is the German one with eight layers and 250 types of frosting instead of the domestically manufactured model with only five layers, and just 18 frosting options.

Bob Lutz to Oversee Opel
I doubt it. The US Administration seems to be doing everything, short of nuking itself, to make Russia happy like abandoning Eastern Europe, and the missile-defence system in Poland.

Cartoon Network adds live-action series
Wow, in addition to being live action, each show's premises sounds like total crap! Good job Cartoon Network!

Television Theme Songs
I've been spoiled in the soundtrack department by Miami Vice. Jan Hammer's fantastic work captured the 'Miami' setting perfectly, and the liberal use of popular music to set the scene and mood has been often imitated, but never duplicated. The Sopranos soundtrack was also awesome.

Television Theme Songs
I suppose "Won't get Fooled Again" by The Who kinda counts because it's the 'theme' for CSI: Miami, and is segued into after David Caruso makes a corny one-liner.

Rant: The Half-Ass Double Stop.
Do they at least signal to turn left before doing this double stop? In my city, signal stalks are sold as an option.

Rich Chicago man really hates poor people
http://www.boingboing.net/2009/10/08/rich-...hates-poor.html If this isn't some kind of joke, then this guy is perhaps the biggest sh*t-stain in North America. His opposition to a library is very ironic.

How To Shave Your Own Back
Yeah, but isn't that expensive? Not to mention that it sounds like it'd burn like hell.

C&G Chatroom
This feature is so much more intuitive than IRC, and doesn't require any special software as long as Java is compatible with your browser. I did say in the chatroom that you ought to be commended for keeping the freenode IRC channel warm for us.

C&G Chatroom
Awesome work! I'm amazed how well it performs compared to that old POS! Thanks for this!

My luck ...
I wonder if this is fate, and it's 'kindly' nudging you to not buy any more old cars.

Trailering.....
You and me both. My Dad and I have been banging on GM's door for ages for a diesel engine in the Avalanche, but to no avail. Really, I'd just go with the Avalanche because it's what you know, and you know how useful, and capable a truck is. My family's in a similar line of work as yours, and I couldn't fathom doing any of the work without my Sierra. There's always something that needs to be fetched or moved and I'd have been hard up to have moved that commercial furnace a couple weeks ago in anything other than a truck.

4 men and a woman.....
Just judging by the title, I thought this thread would've been promptly sent to Rated-R.

New Malibu Ad
Is that a course offered out East? I can't seem to find that one in BC. =[
