  1. You're always going to get the A-hole dealers that try to rip off the customer. No matter what the brand. I'm sorry that you had to deal those idiots. Hopefully, the dealership will close when people stop going there. I hope you can find someone who wants to help you.
  2. Well, I live in a small city and the gas prices have been above 2.50 for a long time. Though, I also live in NY state and they tax the hell out of everything.
  3. Well, GM is developing a few small RWD sedans and coupes so that sounds like a good prediction.
  4. Compared to other cars in it's class, it's the cheapest car. Also, for years.. many consider the Corvette to be a separate entity from Chevrolet even though it is under the same brand. The corvette is the exception to the path of Chevrolet and always has been.
  5. The direction for both brands is clearly drawn for Chevy and Saturn. Chevy will be the economy class. Offering sub-compact vehicles to large family sedans. Then offering lower priced SUVs. Saturn will be the mid-luxury class with Opel design influences and a few cars exported from Germany. Chevy is fine where it is. Saturn is going to be fine where it's going. This article sounds like it's a bit outdated with it's story.
  6. That sucks. Thank God it's not your fault. Your insurance would be so high right now.

    Lexus RX350

Could Lexus be scared of the Enclave? Probably not.. but it doesn't mean they aren't going to do anything to prevent it from stealing too many sales. The upcoming Buick could be the reason for this.
  9. Why are you bothered by it? The Monaro is old. The platform dates back to the early 90s. It's going to be replaced with an even better platform. Now, if you're bothered with the fact that it's not being replaced for another year or so.. I will agree with your statement.
  10. Even though it had very controversial styling, it appears that everyone is copying it in some way or another. Hopefully, the new 7 series will be ground breaking yet look good.
  11. Upon viewing that document, I must say that it looks very unprofessional and appears to not follow any formal/business form structure. Josh. Sounds like whoever sent this has a personal vendetta against you. If I were you, I'd kick some serious ass.
  12. I think if anyone is to blame, it is the person who created that false document. While Josh did jump the gun a bit in reporting it, I think anyone else who saw it would have probably done the same thing. Josh should be commended for backing away from his duties. It shows true class and shows that he really wants the site to prosper.
  13. I think this should be moved to the front page just so everyone knows what's going on.
  14. Wow... that poem was beyond weird. But hilarious.
  15. I think we've already seen spy shots of an CTS with wide wheel arches if I'm not mistaken. This is the first time it's uncamoed.
  16. The vehicles do need to be broken in. I noticed on a 04 Tahoe.. which is currently in my driveway that the mileage has gotten better and better with each passing month.
  17. Ferrari should sue GM for using the name GTO. Canada and the future dictatorship or the north (aka Russia) should sue Toyota for using the name "Tundra" since it belongs solely to them.:rotflmao: Ford should sue Harrison Ford. The native american Pontiac tribe should sue GM for using their name on rebadge cobalts and equinoxes.
  18. The people at Toyota / Scion must be crapping themselves. This vehicle looks freakin awesome! Dodge needs to build it if it wants to be legitimate player in Europe and even the US.
  19. Right about the 9-2x. Wrong about the 9-7x. They're selling every last one of them. Even though it's just a Trailblazer, some people actually like it. BMW probably wouldn't have any use for Saab since the brand's direction has been non-existant for over a decade and BMW really doesn't have any FWD platforms that can be used. I do think GM should reduce the grip it has on decision making at Saab and let the heads over in Sweden take care of the details. Just pump a lot of money into the brand and let Trollhatten and only Trollhatten develop vehicles and platforms that will appeal to loyal Saab customers and people looking for something different. Let them use their own suppliers, platforms, engines, name designations, etc. Ford has been doing it with Volvo and GM should do the same with Saab in order for the brand to regain it's footing. Anyone at GM HQ listening. Bob?
  20. 1) I would only say it if a friend or relative had this issue. You don't know how this person would react and might be embarassed/offended that you just happen to be staring in the direction of his crotch even though things like open flies do stand out even if you weren't planning on looking in that region. 2) I wouldn't bother either. The guy should be getting monthly checks by his doctor if he's older. I'm sure the doctor had already seen it or will eventually.
  21. It might've been the Korean war. That would make more sense.
  22. If GM was smart they'd make them different and I think they might since the new CTS won't come out for another year or so after the revamped SRX is introduced.
  23. Don't get your hopes up. I'm not.
  24. Welcome to the site DT1701. What a very lucky guy you are to be living in a part of the world with some of the best vehicles GM has to offer. I can completely understand your dissapointment not getting such a great looking vehicle. The Vauxhall VX lightning concept was a beauty and a lot of the styling aspects were transfered over to the Saturn SKY / Opel GT. Yesterday, I was able to see the SKY for the first time in person at the autoshow in my city and I would love to own one just so I could stare at it all day long. It was beautiful from every angle. I can't wait to see the optional hard top and duel exhaust when the SKY redline and the Opel GT enter showrooms. It would be a tragic mistake on GM's part to not introduce this model in the UK because I think it would be a hit. Though, I can understand why they haven't decided on it yet. The Kappa platform was made for LHD markets (North America, Continental Europe) and having to convert the GT to RHD would be costly and would probably jack up the price a good deal for the consumers, therefore defeating the purpose of it being value-priced roadster... but they do it with the Astra so it may happen. I'm unaware of the Yellow Vauxhall you speak of. If you have any images of it, maybe you can post them. It may be FWD but if it's based off a future Saab, the driving dynamics are probably good enough for a fun ride. The Astra will be reaching our shores by the end of the decade under the Saturn brand of course and it will replace the miserable ION. Be thankful your father doesn't have to deal with that vehicle. I hope you get the Astra. Maybe if you do, you can take pictures and post them here. We could use more international members. Welcome again to C&G! Sorry about the late reply.. this forum hasn't had a lot of hits lately.
  25. Looks like this picture could be from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Looks very ethereal...if you don't pay attention to the power lines.
