  1. YJ and I are discussing doing away with the old point system in favor of a single point system. You cast one vote for your favorite. We can use the forum's poll system as a more effective way of tallying the votes too.
  2. There's something mystical about the way snowflakes gently coast through the air and to the ground. I enjoy watching the height of snow storms because it shows the awesome power of nature in a display that's beautiful, then watching the gentle flurries dancing in the air after the storm. It reminds me why I like winter so much. We've had 2 snow storms in 3 days, I'm quite enjoying it. It also helps to have a snowblower so cleanup doesn't suck so much.
  3. I think itt would be great if YJ and I worked together, so the two of us combined can ensure the competition forums become active again.
  4. Remember: That POS Toyota is the same car as the POS Impala.
  5. Sitting in the warm house on the couch, with a cup of hot cocoa, watching the snow fall, as I did today. There's nothing quite like it. (watching the cars slide around on the hill is an amusing bonus)
  6. How do you figure, the dual cowl design is pretty unique to Chevy and has been their design language since the Malibu.
  7. Try driving an Explorer and an Edge back to back (for example). There's a difference.
  8. I think it falls between the Escape and Edge size wise. The headlights remind me of the Pacifica's refresh.
  9. So all they had to do was swap the Toyota grille and badge stickers with Chevy ones.
  10. Well, perhaps not, but you don't have to fill it up if you don't want to fill all 20 gallons.
  11. Hey Camino, you could always import a Ute.
  12. I bet the guy being sued will never help anyone out again.
  13. You know, it's a shame that the Camry doesn't have the front and rear fascias of the Aurion, because the car actually looks pretty nice. the NA market Camry's fascias make it look like ass.
  14. "So the car's badly damaged and leaking fuel, but oh wait, she looks fine, so let's let someone else do it and grab a coffee!"
  15. So from now on if you want to save someone from burning to death in a car or drowning you must bring a waver form for them to sign saying they won't sue you for saving their stupid life. Ridiculous, I hope she gets in another life threatening wreck and everyone just stands and watches, while the emergency vehicles can't get to her because of traffic or something. Then she better hope she's got a pen to sign that form...and a functional hand as well. Stupid bitch.
  16. From teh side it reminds me of the Outlook/Acadia, which is no bad thing. Overall it looks much more expensive, with good proportions too. The interior looks really nice, especially the center stack, although it looks a little cheap in Autoblog's photos. However the Chevy officials said it would be better for productions models, so we'll see. Overall if I were in the market for a "small" to small-medium CUV I would have this near the top of my list along with the Journey. The Journey's exterior styling is still my favorite, and it has lots of useful features. That said the interior design of the Equinox blows the Journey's away...only thing is the Journey actually has soft touch areas on the dash. Of course as long as the armrests, steering wheel, and seats are soft I don't mind at all. Also the Equinox has the Journey beat in the powertrain department. I think the most impressive aspects of this new CUV are the interior design and powertrains / EPA numbers.
  17. Iceland sounds cool. ...not t he gay marriage though, but Satty can take you up on that offer, he appears interested.
  18. I forgot about biking, as I enjoy that too, did it over the summer...need a new bike though, or to fix mine.
  19. That's a pathetic photochop.
